I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years through dog sitting, fostering, and caring for dogs in my own home and in multi-dog households. I’ve looked after everything from energetic puppies to sweet seniors, and I’m comfortable with dogs who need a little extra patience, structure, or understanding. I have experience with basic training, leash manners, puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with challenging or reactive behaviours, including dogs others may describe as “difficult” or aggressive. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, triggers, and comfort level, and I take the time to build trust rather than expecting every dog to fit the same routine. I’ve also cared for households with 3+ dogs at once, so I’m comfortable managing multiple personalities and keeping everyone happy. Most importantly, I love dogs and treat every dog like family. Really it’s about tailoring my approach to each pet and their needs and treating every home and pet with the same respect as my own.
Ratings and reviews
Danielle is absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs, Pearl and Hank. Pearl is a medium-sized dog, while Hank is a very large dog, so they each have different personalities, needs, and energy levels. Danielle is patient, confident, and comfortable caring for them both. She understands how important our pets are to our family and always treats Pearl and Hank with genuine kindness, love, and respect. She is attentive to their individual needs and makes sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I especially appreciate that she is not intimidated by Hank’s large size and knows how to remain calm and confident around him. Danielle is responsible, dependable, trustworthy, and someone I feel completely comfortable having around my dogs. Pearl and Hank are always happy to see her, which says so much about the connection she has built with them. Schedule
I’m a single mother, so I’m currently working around parenting schedules. During the weekday, I’m available from 8am-4pm, and can be available evenings on Thursday and Friday or any time Saturday. Sunday is reserved for family time, and I’d encourage you to do the same! :)
