Pet care experience

10 Years of Pet Care, Now on Rover

I've been caring for dogs for nearly 10 years — I'm just new to Rover! From bouncy puppies to sweet seniors, I handle walks, playtime, medication, and all the cuddles in between. Most of my experience comes from bookings outside the app, and I'm happy to share references. Services I offer: • Boarding • House sitting • Dog walking • Plant care while you're away Why I'm a great fit: I work from home as a freelance creative director, so my schedule is flexible and I'm around most of the day. That means morning walks, midday playtime, and no dog left waiting alone for attention. At my place, your pup gets a spacious, newly renovated apartment with AC, a big back porch, and a dog park just a couple blocks away — plus a kiddie pool on hot days. In your home, I stick closely to your routine and instructions, and treat your space with care. On walks, I stay alert to surroundings and keep dogs securely leashed, adjusting pace to their energy — slow stroll or high-energy trot, I've got it covered. All breeds and sizes are welcome, and you'll get regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing they're in good hands. A few things that help me take the best care of your pup: • Please provide your dog's leash, toys, bowls, and waste bags • Early drop-offs or late pick-ups may have a small additional fee — just ask! Questions or special requests? I'd love to chat and figure out what works best for you and your dog.

Dani was amazing with our bulldog Kong. She took great care of him, was very communicative, and sent many pictures so we knew he was doing well. Unfortunately, Kong got sick while we were gone, but luckily for us, Dani was so gracious and continued taking great care of him. She even went to the extent of making some bland food for his upset tummy. Knowing he was in such good hands kept our minds at ease.

House Sitting • Sep 17, 2025

Dani is WONDERFUL! Due to unfortunate circumstances, our usual sitter was unable to care for our pup while we were going to be out of the country for 11 days and Dani was able to step in on short notice. We have only ever left our dog with family or our usual dogsitter and being very cautious about who we leave our dog with, she Facetimed with us before to “meet,” and then came over early before we left so we could meet in person, and our dog could get comfortable with her. Our dog took to her right away, so we could already tell we had made a great decision. She is extremely loving and caring with pets, and she clearly gave lots of affection and attention to our girl. She sent us pictures every day while we were gone and even offered to Facetime so we could see her. We could tell from the pictures and videos how happy our pup was and how much fun she was having with Dani; she clearly loved spending time with her. If you hire Dani to care for your dog, she will absolutely treat them like she treats her own and she will go above and beyond to make sure your pets are receiving the best care possible (for example, our dog has fresh pumpkin as part of her diet and she ran out while we were gone, so Dani went out and bought her more!). Our girl absolutely loved her and yours will, too. We would recommend Dani to anyone! PS she is also a fantastic plantsitter and watered all my plants for me while we were gone! 😉

I had a family emergency and needed someone to take care of Peach on short notice. Daniele was incredibly quick and flexible — she even came all the way downtown to pick her up and looked after her for a few days until I got back. It was such a relief to be able to count on Daniele during such a stressful time.

Dani always takes care of my cat Black when I travel. Black was adopted and is usually very shy and cautious, but she absolutely loves Dani. Dani feeds her, plays with her, and keeps her litter box nice and clean. You can tell Black feels really comfortable and happy with Dani. We trust her completely and highly recommend her to watch your kitties.

Schedule

I work from home as a freelance creative director, which basically means I make my own hours and always have a dog nearby for creative inspiration (and the occasional snack break buddy). My flexible schedule lets me give pups the attention they deserve — whether it’s morning walks, midday playtime, or just being there so they’re not home alone. Since I’m around most of the day, your dog won’t be left waiting for love, walks, or belly rubs. So whether your pup’s routine is chill and cozy or full of zoomies, I’m here for it.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether your dog is staying with me, I’m visiting your home, or we’re just heading out for a walk, their safety, happiness, and comfort always come first. At my place, your pup will have plenty of room to relax and play. I live in a spacious, newly renovated apartment with AC (perfect for nap time on hot days), a big back porch for sunbathing, and a nice dog park just a couple of blocks away. On warm days, I even set up a dog pool outside so the pups can splash, cool off, and have some extra fun! When I’m caring for pets in their own homes, I make sure to stick to their routine and follow your instructions closely — all while keeping your space clean and respected. For walks, I always stay aware of the surroundings, keep dogs securely leashed, and tailor each walk to their energy and comfort level. Whether it’s a slow stroll or a high-energy trot, I’ve got it covered. No matter the service, your dog will get the love and attention they deserve — plus lots of updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

A typical day

A typical day with me is full of love, playtime, and plenty of fresh air! If it’s warm out, I set up a little splash pool on my porch so your pup can cool off, people-watch, and maybe bark at a passing squirrel or two. When the sun starts to set, we usually head to a nearby park(which has a huge dog park for even more fun and zoomies). If the weather’s cooler, we head out earlier and pick quiet times so shy or less social pups can enjoy the park stress-free. My own dog is a tug-of-war champ and loves a good game of chase, but if your pup prefers a calm vibe, he’s a pro at giving them space and snoozing by their side. If my schedule, your location, and the weather cooperate, I’m always up for an extra adventure: a park trip, a beach day, or even a little jog if your pup loves to run! Throughout the day, I’ll keep you in the loop with fun pics and videos so you can see all the cute and silly moments. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and part of the family while they’re with me.

It’s super important for me to know if your pet has any special needs, allergies, or medical conditions, and your vet’s contact info too, just in case we ever need it (hopefully NEVER!). I’d also love to hear all about their personality: how much energy they have, their favorite things to do, and any little quirks or fears, like fireworks, water, vacuum cleaners, or anything else that might make them nervous. Please also let me know if they need extra help with clean-ups after potty breaks or any special care on walks — I’m here for it! For everyone’s safety, I’m not able to accept aggressive dogs, big pups who love to drag people down the street, or pets with contagious illnesses. The more I know, the better I can make sure your fur baby feels safe, happy, and totally at home while they’re with me!
