I work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so I'm here all day to give your dog company, attention, and regular toilet breaks. I live in a cosy 2-up 2-down terraced house with a fenced courtyard garden - perfect for a sniff around, a quick play or a bathroom break. My schedule is flexible, so I take a lunchtime walk or run every day and can easily fit in extra breaks for toilet trips or playtime. Your dog won't be left waiting.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety is my top priority. My courtyard garden is fully fenced with no gaps, and all the windows open from the top down, so there's no risk of climbing or jumping out. I keep cleaning products and anything harmful well out of reach. I'm home the entire time during boarding stays and your dog is never left unsupervised. I'm happy to send regular photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see exactly how they're getting on. Before any stay, I'd love to arrange a free meet-and-greet so your dog can get comfortable with me and the house first.

Information Daniela Z. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs, medical requirements, or particular behaviours I should be aware of. I'm happy to accommodate. I can administer medication (tablets, eye drops, etc.) if needed. My preference is for small to medium breeds given the size of my home and garden, but do get in touch and we can chat about whether it's a good fit for your dog.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I tailor the day to suit their energy and personality. For an active dog, a typical day starts with a long morning walk or jog around Kelsey Park or Beckenham Place Park (we could easily do 5k together if your dog's up for it and needs to burn off some energy). At lunchtime, we can head out again for another walk, explore a new route, or do some off-lead time if they have good recall. For a more relaxed dog, we'd take a gentle morning stroll around Kelsey Park, then settle in at home together. They can nap by my desk, follow me around the house, or curl up on the sofa while I work. Either way, afternoons are for mixing it up with puzzle toys, a game of fetch, practising a trick, or just some quality one-on-one fuss. I always try to keep dogs mentally stimulated as well as physically exercised. The day wraps up with an evening walk and a calm wind-down before bed. Whatever your dog's speed, I'll match it. Just let me know what they love and I'll build the day around them.

Pet care experience
I've been around animals my whole life - 30 years and counting! I grew up with cats, and my family has since rescued three small-to-medium dogs that I visit and care for regularly. Since moving to London, renting has meant I can't have my own pet, so I channel that love into sitting for family, friends, and fellow pet parents through apps like this one. I live in central Beckenham with Kelsey Park and Beckenham Place Park right on my doorstep which is brilliant for long walks and off-lead adventures (if allowed). I work from home three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), so your dog gets a fully present companion, not an empty house. I'm an active person - I run regularly and love being outdoors, so if your dog needs lots of exercise, I'm more than up for it. Equally, if your dog prefers a quieter day pottering around the house and snoozing on the sofa, I'm just as happy with that. I take my cues from your dog and what they need. I have experience with basic pet hygiene routines, like wiping eyes and brushing teeth.

Reviews

Daniela looked after our dachshund Oscar overnight, it was his first session and all went really well. He had a great time and settled in easily. Really glad to have found Daniela and will be back :)

Daniela is great and sent photo updates and took good care of my senior dog Nina
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment she started house sitting, she kept me updated regularly, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. It’s clear she genuinely cares—Orlo absolutely loved her and was happy, relaxed, and well looked after when I got back. I’d trust her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.
Dani has been looking after my sausage dog, Mildred, at her house for a few months now, and they are so sweet together. Since Mildred is an old lady, I’m always a bit anxious about her ailments including a delicate back, but Dani is incredibly mindful of that. She’s very gentle with her. Mildred genuinely loves going there, evidenced by hysterically happy sausage dog squeaking, which is the best indicator for me. Dani is also easy to communicate with and sends photos so I know everything is fine. If you want someone who is actually going to pay attention to your dog’s specific needs rather than just watching them, Dani is great.
