Pet care experience

Your pets new best friend!

I’ve been caring for dogs for over eight years and I’ve always stepped in to help friends and family when they travel. Since I was 17 now that I’m turning 32 I have been trusted sitter for multiple families building strong relationships based on reliability and care. I have experience with puppies, including basic training like potty pads sit paw and outdoor bathroom habits, as well as with senior dogs who need extra attention due to health issues. I’m also very patient with timid dogs and love helping them feel safe and comfortable over overtime. More than anything I truly love animals. When their families are away, I do my best to make them feel safe loved and right at home.

Daniela was super easy to work with and very reliable. We met before she watched our dog and they got along very well during that meeting, and while we were away. She kept us updated with photos and with progress reports. We would highly recommend her, she was great!!

Schedule

I work from home and I have a very flexible schedule that I actually make my own schedule at work so I have a lot of time to make sure that if a family needs me for anything important like a walk or just a check in to make sure that the dogs have food and water I can do so.

Safety, trust & environment

I have more than five years of experience of working with animals in their own homes in the clients homes, and I make sure that I follow every rule and every step that a client does leave for me because I want the dog to have the same routine as if their families have not left for a day or the week. If I do care for an animal at my own house, I do make sure that I still do follow the rules at the families give me and make sure that they feel loved even though they are in a new environment and it might be a little scary for them at first, but I always make sure to make them feel as comfortable as possible with that being taking them around the house, letting them smell around, making sure that they’re comfortable with my things that I have such as furniture if I’m making Food or if I’m cleaning and they don’t feel overwhelmed by noises so I always make sure that I’m watching their behavior and just following their steps.

Pets

A typical day

When I watch pets, I have more than enough time to go outside play at the dog park. We do live in an area that has a private dog park. If they don’t get along with other dogs, that’s fine. There’s also another park that I can go to it’s more so I have a lot of space in the area that I live where the dogs can run where we can go play play fetch.

I think the biggest thing with knowing before hand before taking care of a dog is that I know their behavior. Do they get along well with other dogs if they don’t I should know that do they get along with people kids just in case when I do walk them that I know where to stay away from. also, a big thing to know beforehand is their eating habits. Do they require special times special food do they take medicine in the morning at night time do they get aggressive when they’re eating or do they like not eating when they’re alone do they like eating with someone standing behind them
