If so, what are their triggers? Please note I don't work with dogs over 20lb who pull. - Are they reactive while walking, or with anything else? - Do they need potty breaks during sleeping hours (10:30 pm - 6:30 am)? - Do they have any special needs or health issues?

Pet care experience

Hi pet parents! Please carefully read the sections below for important info on the services I offer and behaviors/pets I can't work with. Thank you for considering me. Ahimsa! ABOUT ME: This is my full time business. I’m insured, and Pet CPR & First Aid certified. I have a small team of helpers but when you book me, you're booking me specifically (if there is any part of a booking that I can't cover, I'll always tell you ahead of time, and you'll always have the final say before we introduce one of my subs). I'm committed to ethical, loving pet care, and have a lifestyle devoted to animal rights. Animals are my passion. I bring both expertise with next-level compassion to keep your pets safe, happy, and cared for like the furry toddlers that they are. You can count on me to meet their needs with love and attention. MY EXPERIENCE: - Dog CPR and First Aid certified. - Senior dogs and cats. - Special needs and chronic health issues (see special needs section for health issues I work with). - Providing care for sick dogs and cats. - Years of private and shelter animal care, including dog shelters, cat shelters, and farm sanctuaries. - Received dog walking training at Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter. - Please note that I don't work with dogs with aggression issues. MY VALUES: - Your pet's well-being and safety are my top priority. - Every pet is unique. I take time to understand their individual personalities and needs, and approach them with empathy to foster a trusting relationship that helps them feel comfortable and safe in my care.  - Having years of experience caring for rabbits in the past (who instinctively hide signs of discomfort) taught me to be highly attuned to changes in behavior and health. - Trust is essential in any relationship, and I build it through reliability and integrity. - I maintain a smoke, alcohol, and drug-free lifestyle and always treat clients’ homes with the utmost respect. - Animals are not just companions; they are intuitive beings who teach us about love and connection. I honor each pet’s unique personality and needs. - I live by the principle of ahimsa (non-violence toward all living beings). I follow a 100% plant-based diet, live a vegan lifestyle, and actively participate in animal rights activism. - Spending time with animals and showering them with love feeds my soul. Education: I hold a bachelor's in Family and Child Studies, a master's in Environmental Studies, and a certificate in Project Management. I'm also a certified Reiki practitioner. My professional background spans industries such as environmental engineering and tech startups. However, my unwavering passion has always been animals. My education and professional journey has honed my critical thinking and attention to detail, which I apply to pet care; ensuring your pets receive the best possible service. SERVICE AREA: 5-mile radius from Morris County Golf Club, Morristown. A travel fee applies to locations outside of this radius. BEHAVIORS I DON'T WORK WITH: - Dogs over 20 lb who consistently pull on a leash. - Dogs over 20 lb who are reactive to other dogs during walks. - Dogs or cats with a bite / aggression history, or who are reactive towards new people. - Dogs or cats who have an aggressive or mouthy play style with humans. - Large dogs who frequently jump on people. - Dogs who are destructive of furniture or belongings - Off-leash walks outside of a fenced area are not offered - For multi-dog households, individual walks are required if they don't walk easily together (without pulling)  - Dogs or cats who pose a high escape risk (attempting to squeeze past when doors open, jumping fences, digging under fences, etc.) WALKS: Every walk is balanced, intentional, and tailored to your dog's needs. While the goal is to give them as much exercise as possible, I never rush them because sniffing and marking are equally important for their mental wellbeing. Safety is always a priority; I avoid other dogs and people during walks, always advocating for your dog's personal space and comfort. Please note that I'm unable to work with dogs who exhibit the behavior listed above. OVERNIGHT CARE: In addition to spending the night with your pet, I'm also with them during the day. Please note that overnight care does not mean continuous 24/7 care. I come and go as needed throughout the day, but always strive to follow your pet's routine as closely as possible. This works best with pets who can comfortably be alone for 4-5 hours. What's included with overnight pet sitting: - Two walks daily (15-20-minutes each) - As many potty breaks as needed in the yard between 6:30 am and 10:30 pm - All meal feedings - Daily reports - Daily cleaning of water and food bowls - For cats: litter box scooping and maintenance - Medication administration, if needed - Play time - Unlimited love - Complimentary massage - Complimentary Reiki therapy - Complimentary watering of indoor plants, upon request - Complimentary mail and package retrieval, upon request Add-on services available (for an extra fee): - Key pick-up and drop-off - Transportation (up to 10 miles): to/from the dog park, groomer, vet visits, dog daycare, etc.  - Watering outdoor plants - Pet washing (offered only to pets who can be safely handled without aggressive behavior) SPECIAL NEEDS / SPECIALIZED CARE: In addition to regular pet care, I offer specialized care for pets with unique health needs: - Mobility issues including arthritis, non-functioning legs, and lameness - Blindness - Eye issues - Incontinence - Deafness - Diabetes - Anxiety - Seniors Medication administration (offered only to pets who can be safely handled without aggressive behavior), including: - Oral medications - Eye drops and eye ointments - Transdermal medications - Insulin injections MEET & GREETS: Complimentary initial meet and greet. LIABILITY WAIVER: By requesting and receiving my services, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold me and my helpers harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, or injuries (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from or in any way related to your pet(s), including but not limited to injury to your pet, injury to others, damage to property, or any other claims brought by third parties while your pet(s) are under my care. This includes claims arising from the actions of your pet(s) toward other pets, persons, or property.

This is the second time Dani has taken care of Vinny. She kept me up-to-date while I was away on how he was doing each day and sent me plenty of pictures and videos. She kept my house spotless and when I came home everything was exactly where I left it. You can definitely trust her in your home and with your fur baby.
