I currently work at Fairfax Vet Clinic as an Administrative Assistant and Pharmacy Technician, where I spend my days caring for and working closely with animals. As an Administrative Assistant, I regularly triage pets and speak with owners about their concerns, which has given me a strong understanding of common symptoms, changes in behavior, and when a pet may need veterinary attention. As a Pharmacy Technician, I’ve developed extensive knowledge of veterinary prescriptions, medications, dosing instructions, and pet nutrition, including helping ensure that pets receive the correct medications and food for their individual needs. My experience with animals began when I was 16, when I started working at a doggy daycare. I continued working there throughout high school, gaining hands-on experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. Since then, I’ve continued providing dog and house sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently have a cat of my own, Dennis, who I absolutely adore. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets. I’m responsible, attentive, and dependable, and I take the time to learn each pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs.
