Dogs are my love language! I’ve fostered more dogs through Grass Roots Rescue than I can count, and honestly, I get dogs better than most people! Over the last 9 years I’ve watched large dogs, tiny dogs, a blind dog, a 3-legged dog, rowdy puppies, wise seniors… you name it. My goal is to treat your pet just like I treat my own Lab, Husky and Border Collie mix. Our dogs are part of our family. I work from home and offer frequent potty breaks and playtime in our fenced in yard (6 foot fence). We also enjoy taking walks around our property or on the nearby trails at Henry Parker Sports Complex.

Daniela saved the day when I needed a last-minute sitter on a work trip! Winston LOVED staying with her. Daniela texted updates daily and was a great communicator. Winston was so happy hanging out with her dogs and family, I highly recommend Daniela!
Daniela was great with our senior Pomeranian! Even though we booked on short notice, she was very accommodating. Daniela sent pictures and updates every morning to let us know how our little guy was doing. All around terrific experience.

I was glad we decided to use Rover.com in lieu of a Kennel and especially to find a sitter like Daniela K. We felt comfortable with her care and our pet Finley's environment. We had specific feeding instructions and made a list of his habits and possible training short comings. We feel this was carried out and then some. She even gave us some training and care hints for our excitable mini Schnauzer. We will definitely check with her in future needs when going out of town and need a safe and confortable place for Finley to stay.
Daniela took wonderful care of my dog over a long boarding stay. She was communicative and she and her family treated my dog like one of their own. Couldn’t recommend her more!

Schedule
As a long-time dog owner, I know that finding a caretaker that you can trust to provide a reliable & safe service can be a struggle. While boarding, I will try to stick to your dog’s schedule and routine as closely as possible and send frequent photo and video updates. I work hard to build trust with clients and their pets, ensuring that their time away from home is as stress-free as possible.

We welcome all breeds and can keep your dog separate from others if needed, thanks to a 5-foot solid wooden gate dividing the living room from the kitchen and dining area. I like to do slow introductions and take my time making sure everybody gets along before they're allowed to play together. Play time is always supervised

A typical day
I'm a big believer in mental and physical activity. We love doing food puzzles, slow feeders, kongs etc., "sniffaris" and pack walks. Please note: I require a meet and greet for all new clients and proof of rabies vaccine or titer.
