Dany 's Doggy Retreat
Volunteer at Denver Animal Shelter, with tons of fostering at this exact place. From 3 week old puppies to senior dogs. Lots of leash training experience with reactive pitties and basic training with puppies. I honestly fall in love with every puppy and treat them as if they are my own, so I promise to spoil them rotten whilst positively train them and play with the

Ratings and reviews
This was the first time Daniela and David took care of Jo and it was a phenomenal experience. I received so many pictures and updates. Jo went on a lot of walks and car rides and they followed all medication instructions. Jo is a senior dog with anxiety (which gives me anxiety when I leave him), but Daniela and David made us (both Jo and I) feel at ease. I would highly recommend them and I will definitely be booking with them again.

Our dog Hannah had a lot of fun with Daniela! We would definitely book with her again!

Daniela was incredible! She sent me plenty of photos and I know Fitzy got a ton of exercise. She really cares about The dogs she watches and even went above and beyond when I had to extend it last minute. She was a total pro and I will definitely hire her again- 10/10 recommend!

Daniela and her husband were great with Theo! She sent lots of videos and also helped a lot with his leash pulling. Will definitely book her again!

Daniela takes great care of our golden Russel! Her and David spoil him with walks and playtime. I love that they always provide updates and photos on how he’s doing too. We’ve been using them since Russell was a puppy and couldn’t recommend them more!

Daniela was a great host for our chihuahua! She clearly loves dogs and took care to verify compatibility during a pre-boarding meet-and-greet. Daniela sent photos, videos, and updates regularly throughout our 2 week time away, keeping me happy knowing our dog was doing well! I will be boarding with Daniela again in the future!

Schedule
First thing in the morning I take them for a 30 minute to an hour walk, depending on age. At that time I generally try to do a bit of leash training, and lower reactivity. After eating and a nap, I play with them and usually get them out for a quick walk to potty. On the afternoon, again a 30 minute to an hour walk. If time allows it I usually walk them through confluence park or jefferson park and let them see all the activity and the river. Finally, it's dinner and to bed (their bed)

Safety, trust & environment
I usually try to play with them in designated areas, because then it can get messy. If there is no space I would brinf them out either to a yard or a park. Same for their sleeping routine.
A typical day
Depending on each dog, I love to have them do mental activities. Also if I am allowed I always notice they like being in Confluence park, just viewing all the movement and sounds, and together we enjoy the afternoon or morning there.
