I grew up with 2 small dogs (who think they're cats) and adopted a 16-year-old cat (who thinks she's a human) last year. My cat, Potato, came home from the shelter with chronic kidney disease, arthritis, and stitches from getting one eye removed. Her health journey has taught me a lot about medication administration, symptom tracking, and trusting my gut about when it's time to go to the vet. It's also been incredibly rewarding to watch her heal and settle into her life here :). I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all kinds, and will always follow their lead, whether they want lots of love right away or need time to feel more comfortable. Ultimately, I'm hoping to help out in the community, make a little extra money, and give lots of head scratches!
