Aside from having grown up with dogs, cats and horses, I have a huge passion for animals and would go as far as saying I prefer them over humans - Don't worry, I still love meeting new people, so I am sure we'd get on great :-) I have owned dogs for 15 years, trained all my dogs both in puppy school and at home and bred 2 beautiful healthy litters with my lovely Chorkie girl Bear. Hence, I would be more than happy to look after puppies and youngsters and continue any training you might have already started. I also have experience in dealing with difficult dogs and behavioral issues, so I'd be fully prepared to take on any cat or dog of any shape and size and care for them in a way that is suitable for their individual needs, whether that is extra care and distance from other dogs on walks, naughty habits at home or very bouncy fur babies! I do work out regularly and consider myself physically capable to look after strong and large dogs. My job as Marketing Director at a Software company enables me to work from home and I am therefore very flexible when it comes to arranging my video meetings around walk and play times, whether that is during boarding or visits. I do not smoke, have a recent clear DBS check, no criminal record and am more than happy to accept last-minute bookings, so just get in touch!

I am so happy we chose Dani to look after our dog Bobbin recently. From the moment we met her to discuss his needs, we both felt at ease knowing that she would take excellent care of our fur baby. Dani ensured he had lots of fun whilst she looked after him including lovely walks and games in the house. She also sent regular updates and pictures which showed how much fun he was having. Bobbin can be a bit nervous and attached to us but he took to her immediately and had such a lovely time with her. We hope to use Dani again and would definitely recommend her to future clients. We had Dani come and look after our dogs this weekend. What can we say she is a lovely lady and loved our dogs. Nothing was a problem we needed to adjust the times slightly. Dani sent us updates to let us know they were fine which is always nice. We came home to our house just as we left it. I highly recommend Dani.

Daniela was our neighbour in London, Essex for a few months and at one point looked after our dog Lucy for a few days while we were travelling. She dropped in multiple times a day as agreed and late at night before bed time sorting her out and again in the morning incl. plenty of walks. She really did a brilliant job and we had that extra peace of mind :)

Schedule
I am working from home full time and will therefore be at home all day most days. My routine does include seeing my horse approx. 10 mins away from my horse, so your dog would never be alone longer than 2 hours at a time. I can be flexible with dogs that can not be left alone at all - Please just reach out and we can discuss!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large 4-bedroom detached house with a neighboring small yard, that I own. The yard is fully fence off, as is the garden area your dog will be able to roam around in freely. My property is located away from busy roads in a private small alley approx. 100m away from the nearest neighbor. I also own part of a private 2 acre field behind my yard, which is fully fenced and a great opportunity to walk your dog on their own, with absolutely no disruption or need to run into strangers or other dogs!

A typical day
I love giving dogs some play times in and out the house, plenty of rest and cuddles in between but also taking dogs to local areas which have much of their original natural environment still intact, such as Sirhowy Valley Country Park which has beautiful forest walks, rivers and little streets. I find it is much more fun for the dog to roam around and have a proper run and sniff, as opposed to busy streets or even local parks with lots of people. However, naturally, I find it equally important and beneficial to keep busier places in the mix to make sure dogs get enough exposure to their kind and other people, which can improve anxiety and get them used to all kinds of places.

- I believe it is crucial to know whether they get on with other dogs, and if so what kind - Some dogs may like the company of most other dogs but might be intimidated by very large dogs or even cats. Hence, knowing their behaviour towards other animals, such as cats, squirrels, horses etc. is equally important. The same applies to surrounding environments, i.e. busy traffic streets, car rides etc. Furthermore, it would be important for me to understand their likely interaction with strangers of all ages and how the dog may react to certain behaviour of other pedestrians, i.e. very bouncy children. Finally, any anxiety, potential aggression, fears, likes, dietary requirements and habits would help me prepare, handle and react to your dog in the best possible way :-)
