My husband and I both work in schools, so weekdays we are typically home by 3/3:30pm. When the weather is nice, we try to spend as much time outside in the afternoon with our kids in our huge fenced in yard. During school vacation weeks and weekends, we are almost always home, or adventuring nearby to find walking trails, playgrounds, or other outdoor/dog friendly spaces.

Safety, trust & environment
I always want to replicate what they’re familiar with while you’re away so that they are as comfortable as possible. This will look different for every dog, and we are flexible to that. Safety is a massive priority for our family, as it is just as important for us that your dog and we enjoy their stay. Dogs are never left unattended in our fenced in back yard - my husband or I will always be outside monitoring them. Baby gates separate the kitchen/dining area from the living room/play room area, and used when dogs are eating or if our kids/dog are getting overstimulated and could use a break. We never let the dog off leash if we take them to a public park or walking trail. We do not go to dog parks.

Information Daniela B. would like to know about your pet
The more I know about your dog the better! I'd love to know what a typical day looks like for them, their likes and dislikes, favorite treats, and any food/dietary concerns to note. It always helps to know if your dog has any fears, triggers, or special needs. Your dog must be good with young kids. My children have been around dogs, and have been taught how to treat and respect them, but we cannot host dogs that have never been around small children. Thank you!
A typical day
As I've mentioned, we love to be an active family and often go to places that are very dog friendly, such as parks, wooded trails, beach, or nearby downtown areas. We would love to bring your pup along for those adventures! At home, we'd spend lots of time in the backyard playing fetch or sniffing for bunnies. Inside, we'd get cozy for movie nights and relaxing in the sun.

Pet care experience
You're going away, and the only one more anxious than your pup watching you pack a suitcase, is you, wondering who will take care of them with just as much love and care as you would. That would be me (and my husband and two dog obsessed toddlers)! There are people who like dogs, and then there are dog people. We're the latter! I’ve had dogs in my family my whole life, and cared for dogs through Rover and for friends for over 12 years. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and health needs, and feel comfortable providing medication. After taking a long Rover maternity leave, we're ready to welcome dogs back into our home. Pups coming into our care MUST be good with young kids (ours are 4.5 & 3) and fully house trained.
Reviews

Daniela is the best! She (and her family) take such good care of our pup!

Daniela and her family take such good care of Tanner when he boards. He loves the big fenced-in back yard and the affection he gets from the whole family. He always has a ball, and I have the pictures and videos to prove it!
Our dog had a fantastic stay! Daniela and family are responsive, responsible, and really helped us out on short notice when another plan fell through. 5/5!

Daniela and her family were great sitters. Lots of communication including videos and pics, which we loved. They were also patient and generous with our (often) rambunctious puppy. Highly recommend.
