Hello, we are a family of four: Dan (Dad), Sarah (Mom), Owen (11) and Bronwyn (9) with lots of dog experience. We said goodbye to our beloved Pug “Ike” of 15 yrs in April 2022. We are not ready or able to commit full time to another dog, we do however love to share the free time we have with new furry friends and continue to teach our children how to responsibly care for, respect and love animals. We have been caring for dogs through Rover for over 2 years and have loved the experience and the chance to spend time with the variety of breeds. I (Dan) grew up with larger dogs in our home, Collies / Labs until the 15 years spent with a crazy little Pug. We volunteered with a dog rescue for a number of years and have always dog sit for family and friends so our kids are accustomed to interacting with new dogs. We are dog lovers at heart and for us this is the next best thing to getting another dog of our own.

Sarah and Daniel were the best Rover we’ve ever had. They have a perfect home to take care of your dog & their kids are so helpful and sweet with the animals! Fully fenced in yard, lots of walk & attention given to your pet. 10/10 communication and responsiveness. We trust them with our life (aka our dog!) Could not recommend them more.
Daniel and Sarah took absolutely incredible care of Archie! This was our first time leaving our dog with anyone, so we were naturally a bit anxious, but they kept us constantly updated throughout his entire stay. Seeing those updates and knowing he was in such good hands made us feel so much better. We highly recommend them and will definitely be booking with them again!
My 5 year old Pug Morty had his second visit with Daniel and Sarah and once again everything was fantastic. It's so comforting knowing that he is in great hands.
Daniel, Sarah and their children are simply the best. Our collie, Malina, gets very happy every time she enters their home. Safe and comfortable environment with kids giving a lot of playful warmth to Malina. She was in Daniel's and Sarah's care many times - we will be back for sure. Big THANK YOU for everything you do!

Schedule
Our free time comes mostly on weekends and that is when we prefer to care for your dog as a family. However exceptions maybe made for extended stays (depending our schedule) as Sarah works from home.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a good sized fully fenced yard. Our home is dog friendly and we can enforce any in home rules you have trained your dog on. Leashed walks, playtime, dog parks, treats and cuddles are all part of our routine when we care for dogs. We are also ok to care for senior dogs and are very accustomed to modifying activity and giving medication(s) etc. We send pictures and updates of the daily activities (if wanted) so you can be comfortable with the care your dog is getting with our family.
A typical day
We will take great care of your loved fur baby. Multiple walks, play time and affection (praise, pets and cuddles. If your dog is senior we will modify to their capability and energy level.
