I lucked into an early retirement from the Feds in Washington, so I am often fully available, including weekdays. In fact, weekday care would be my first preference, but we can discuss your needs and see if it works for both of us.

I’m happy to visit at your place for walks, feeding, etc. My number one priority is safety. I’m rather obsessive about it. When your dog is in my care, I will avoid interacting with others unless we’ve made some other agreement. I will always pick up after your pet.

The main thing I want to know is the temperament of your fur baby. Safety is number one. I want to make sure everyone is happy and feels safe. They should also have a clean veterinarian bill of health. I do require meet and greets before agreeing to care for your fur kids (free of charge).
A typical day
I enjoy short or long walks with pups at various energy levels. I can also do sprints with them if needed. I usually limit play to neighborhood walks. I prefer not to go to dog parks, but can discuss on a case by case basis. We should all be comfortable with agreed upon care perimeters.

Looking for clients primarily in the La Plata neighborhoods of Hickory Ridge, Agricopia, and Pinegrove. I currently have a rescued Russell terrier mix female. She means the world to me, and I protect her with my soul. I would give no less care to yours. My previous dog was an American Staffordshire Boxer mix, and I have walked all sizes of dogs, so I have experience with big and small. But I am not trained to handle behavioral issues. I have previously worked at a pet store and volunteered for a rescue organization.

Daniel is fantastic and Maverick really loves him. Great communication of any changes. He does such a great job sticking to the plan, however. Daniel really makes sure he keeps my dog and others safe. Very considerate and clearly loves the pups. Grateful to have found him!
Daniel haas been walking my very large German Shepherd for over a month and I couldn’t be happier with the service he provides. He’s punctual, has developed a bond with Murph, and I trust him completely with my fur baby.
We first had a meet and greet where I got to know Daniel, ask questions but more importantly Murph got to meet him. Murph took to him instantly which really put me at ease. He has been punctual for Murph’s walks, and I would highly recommend Daniel to take care of your fur baby.
Daniel takes his time making my Rudy feel comfortable with him. On-time, reliable, flexible when my schedule changes unexpectedly, and bery communicative so I always know what is happening. I would recommend Daniel to others needing a dog walker!
