I would love to take care of your dog or cat! I’m a full-time professional photographer living in Hells Kitchen. In my downtime I love taking care of animals as I grew up with so many of my own as a kid in Montana. I am available for walking and sitting in Manhattan. I also have a 3 year old border collie at home so your guy or gal will never be alone! But also important to note for anyone with a reactive dog. We take walks to Central Park and as I have a car we can sometimes drive out of the city for a day in the woods. I’m happy to provide any requested references and relevant experience. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns and I’d be happy to address them. A few things to note. I do not crate my dog. If yours needs to be crated you’ll need to provide one. I live on the top of a 5th floor walk up. If your pup as issues walking I can carry them but over 50 or so lbs it’s not ideal. And I’m away for chunks of the day so I’m unable to accommodate pets with separation anxiety.

Daniel is by far the best pet sitter I could have asked for. I was in need of someone very last minute to watch my cat, Sparrow, and Daniel was able to fit me into his schedule last minute. He came highly recommended from someone else who had used him and it was a relief to find him. I know cats are easy to take care of, but Daniel went above and beyond and was willing to hang as long as needed with Sparrow. Even though I told Daniel he did not need to scoop the cat litter, he still took initiative and did so which was a pleasant suprise. Definitely book Daniel for all of your pet care needs because I know he is also a very good dog dad and dog sitter as well.
Daniel is devoted to his beautiful Border Collie, Bonnie. Bonnie is happy living in the heart of New York City because Daniel ensures she’s well exercised and cared for. Daniel lives an active and healthy lifestyle, perfect for looking after dogs. He’s a great guy too — conscientious but easy going. I couldn’t recommend Daniel highly enough.
Daniel is the best! He not only is a great sitter, he is also a great dog owner. He is kind, compassionate and the pups always have a great time when they stay at his place. 5 stars and would highly recommend!
Daniel has looked after my French Bulldog many times and is my go to sitter whenever I travel. His dog Bonnie is so well trained, that when I pick mine up she has better manners than she does at home…and that’s because of Daniel! Daniel cares for your dog like his own, sends daily updates and photos and most importantly I know my dog is safe and happy whenever she stays with him and Bonnie. I would happily recommend Daniel to all my friends and family who live in the area!
Daniel was wonderful! Super communicative and took great care of my pup while I was out of town. He sent pictures every day of their outings and I could tell my dog was having a blast. I definitely plan to use Daniel again!

Schedule
I am at Freelance Photographer but I do have to leave the house for decent chunks of the day on occasion. Up to 6/8 hrs. Very young puppies who need lots of potty breaks are not the best fit and that applies to dogs with separation anxiety. Thanks!-a

I live in a one bedroom apartment that’s about 730 ft.². I have a dog, A 4 year old spayed female border collie, fixed. so there’s a decent enough room for them to feel comfortable in. And like stated in my profile above we do take walks to the park in the am every day.

A typical day
On a typical morning, we will head to park and hang out for a bit. I always provide water and treats. And then throughout the day, they’ll have a a walk and then will finish the evening with a nice walk around the neighborhood.
