Your Dog’s Second Home in Salzburg
Hi! Dogs have been a natural part of my life since I was born. I grew up in a family with several different breeds – from calm family dogs to dachshunds, beagles, stövare and Finnish hounds. When I was around 20, I had my own dog, a Parson Russell Terrier, which I cared for and walked daily. I spend about 2 weeks each month in Salzburg, and during that time I’m available for dog sitting and walks. I’m a calm, reliable and stable person who genuinely enjoys being around dogs. With a lifetime of experience, I understand different temperaments and needs – whether your dog is energetic or prefers a slower pace. I will take good care of your dog and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well looked after.

Daniel have helped us watch and take care of our two dogs, elkhound and a dachshund for several times during many years. They have been taken good care of, walks and often spent several days when we where away. Daniel have sent us regular updates how it’s going, and is focused on the dogs.

I’ve trusted Daniel with my dogs for several years now, and I honestly can’t recommend him enough. Over time, he’s cared for a variety of breeds for me, including a Bichon Havanais, Beagle, Finnish Spitz, Jack Russell, Dachshund, and Pomeranian, all with their own personalities and needs. He handles each one with the same patience, understanding, and genuine care. What really stands out is how comfortable my dogs are around him. They’re always happy to see him, which says everything. No matter the breed or temperament, they settle in easily with Daniel and clearly enjoy his company. I never have to worry when they’re in his care, he’s reliable, attentive, and clearly loves spending time with dogs. It’s not easy finding someone you can fully trust with your pets, but Daniel has been that person for me year after year.

During my time in Salzburg, I’m not working, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to the pets I care for. Animal care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I can plan my days around walks, feeding, playtime, and rest – always adapting to the dog’s needs and habits. Whether it’s regular walks, companionship during the day, or simply providing a calm and safe environment, I’m fully available. Your dog will not be left alone for long periods and will get lots of attention, care, and presence throughout the day.
