Experienced dog owners & fosterers
Cara has owned a husky for 8 years but we sadly lost her last year. We have 3 year old golden retriever husky Winnie. Dan has also fostered dogs for the dog’s trust for 3 years. Looked after a wide range of dogs. Including staffies, greyhounds, malinois (puppy), jack russell etc. We take great care of any dogs that we look after, we walk them and manage their interactions with other dogs safely. And we’ll provide plenty of attention and fuss. We work remotely from home and will only leave the dog to go to the gym for a short period of time if appropriate. We are not fostering at the moment as I have some travel commitments. We occasionally look after family or friend's dogs but I would make sure this does not clash.

Daniel was friendly both online and in person. Easily adjusted to our care needs and ensured chidi was entertained for the day.
Thank you so much for looking after Max while we were away. Thanks for the pictures and for keeping us posted and knowing that he was ok. We were able to enjoy our time and I’m sure Max did it too.
Daniel was great – he kept me updated, was incredibly accommodating, and Max absolutely loved him. I’ll definitely be booking with him again in the future!
Fletcher is a Dalmatian puppy who can pull with all his strength and daniel seemed confident about having him in his care and said he got on fine during his walks. Daniel was very accommodating with a meet and greet before my booking. My dog Fletcher seemed very eager to get to his house on the day of his doggie day care. Daniel’s house is very clean and well presented. Daniel was very friendly and listened to all of Fletchers needs. Fletcher seemed very happy when I picked him up and was tired all evening after his multiple walks with daniel throughout the day. Will be booking daniel again in the future.
My name is Alison I and Daniel is my son and has always loved animals. We had cats and now have a labradoodle called Mollie. Dan regularly looks after Mollie and it is obvious that he is her favourite person Dan has volunteered for the Dogs Trust and has fostered several dogs and is a very dedicated dog lover. I would recommend him 100% to care for pets on your scheme

Schedule
My schedule is controlled by me. I work normal hours from 9am-5pm but I can be very flexible. When I have a dog I walk first thing in the morning around 7.30am and then again at lunch or mid/late afternoon.

Safety, trust & environment
My house has been approved by Dogs Trust Kenilworth for fostering. My garden is fully fenced in and my property is secure. I make sure that pets are given access to fresh water and fed correctly. I am also very attentive and will keep a close eye on your pet. When walking dogs I have a good understanding of safety and good control on lead. I will ensure that interactions with unfriendly dogs are avoided to the best of my ability.

A typical day
Daily walks and enrichment activities (toys and chews) in the house. We can also play fetch in the garden depending on the dog's interest and appetite.
