Our garden is fenced on all 3 sides and surrounded by gardens in all directions. We crate our family dogs, but are able to take care of dogs who are not crate trained. We do not allow dogs upstairs unless necessary, due to concerns over their joints.
Information Daniel F. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know your dog's breed, age and any specific medical conditions. We also do require a copy of your dogs up-to-date vaccines. We do not accept any dogs without an up-to-date vaccine or proof of titre test. Understanding the dog's temperament, training level, and socialisation will help me create a comfortable walk.
A typical day
Three of my dogs are working gundogs with the fourth being a show dog who also trains in Kennel Club Obedience. I regularly take them all out for training. Every walk is an opportunity to promote good behaviours. I enjoy taking them to Runcorn Hills, Delamere, and dog-friendly National Trusts. We also privately rent a enclosed dog field for off-leash training. Typical day would look like: 06:00 - Wake up, toilet in garden, breakfast 06:30 - Walk if owner requests an AM walk 12:00 - 13:00 - Walk & Training 13:00 - Lunch if dog eats 3 meals - ours are only on two meals so they do not have a lunch 18:00-19:00 - Walk & Training 19:00 - Dinner Play and enrichment throughout the day, including but not limited to training, bond-building exercised, scent work, lickimats, kongs and treats etc.

Pet care experience
We now have limited availability for dog-walking. Dog First Aid Emergency Canine Care qualified, DBS checked and Insured. My partner and I are Golden Retriever breeders who enjoy walking other people's dog. We are competitive dog trainers and handlers and have won a number of awards. I currently train all my dogs to completion level in rural pursuits. We love looking after and training retrievers and will do our utmost to accommodate you and your dogs' needs. We provide the extra care young dogs and puppies require, focusing on socialisation and nurturing their development while maintaining good boundaries for a healthy and well behaved dog. We are happy to train your puppies in basic commands, obedience and socialisation. We are both fully trained in canine CPR and canine first aid. What sets us apart is our genuine love for every pet we care for, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Trust me to provide exceptional care that goes beyond the ordinary. My family and I have had pets all our lives. We are experienced with a wide range of breeds. Our family has owned German Shepherds, Collies and cross-breeds. We have 3 Golden retrievers and a Black Labrador Retriever and love spending our time at dog shows, obedience training, and gundog training with them. We rent out a privately owned, enclosed field every weekend that we use for off-lead activities and training. We send photos and updates so you can see how your dog is doing.
Reviews

It was only a short stay Mabel had such a great time, regular walks and a nice time socialising with the resident dogs.

Daniel looked after our 18 week old retriever which great personalized care. His four dogs were friendly and welcoming, showing our pup how the big dogs behave. Would definitely recommend. Thank you
My Weimerana is a typical weim, but can also be very nervous and reactive around strangers, barks and is tricky to control. She needs a firm hand, and is nippy in play at only 9m old, which needs firm professional but kind and loving support. Sparkle got all of this during her stay, including a trip to the moors. Thank you for all your help, we will be in touch again when we are going away. 🙏

Thank you, Daniel, for taking such great care of Lucy once again, even outside of your regular hours. It's wonderful to have someone reliable and trustworthy to look after her when I can't be there.
