Hey, I’m Dan! My wife, Danielle, and I are lifelong dog lovers and the proud pawrents of Wilbur, our 4yo Goldendoodle. He is incredibly friendly, full of life, and loves making new furry friends! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family had everything from Westies to German Shepherds, so I’m entirely comfortable with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Why choose us? Experienced Hosts: We regularly look after our friends' and family’s dogs for day care or overnight stays, so hosting other dogs in our home is second nature to us. Incredible Walks: We’re lucky to have gorgeous country and riverside walks right on our doorstep. All 3 of us love being in the outdoors, so we can ensure your dog gets plenty of fresh air and exercise whatever the weather. Safety First: We have access to local enclosed dog fields (paid) if your fur baby needs a safer, secure space to run off lead. We’re happy to cater to individual dogs needs. Your dog will always be treated like one of our own!

Daniel is a wonderfully responsible and genuinely loving pet caregiver. He treats every animal with patience, kindness, and real attention to their needs. I always feel completely confident leaving Baloo my 4Yr old German Shepherd in his care.
Dan is great and we trust him completely with our pooches. We have a separated household - our 2 dogs live permanently separate - which can be difficult to navigate for an outsider and we have to put a lot of trust in someone to look after both dogs to ensure their safety. One of our girls also has health issues and requires medication and additional supplements. Dan manages all of this when he cares for our girls and I know they receive 5 star treatment, just like they would if we were at home.

Schedule
I’m available most weekends and have plenty of time to fit your dog into my routine, alongside Wilbur. They’ll join us on a long morning walk, usually through the countryside and farmers fields with plenty of space to sniff and play together. During the day there’s plenty of time to play in the house and garden (weather permitting!), and lots of time for an all important snooze before another evening walk.

We have a fenced garden with plenty of grass space. Our own dog Wilbur will be more than happy to help look after and make your own dog feel welcome, comfortable and loved!

A typical day
We’ll go for plenty of outdoor walks to get lots of sniffs of the local area. Wilbur also has lots of toys to share, as well as enrichment puzzles to play with in the home. We also love playing brain games, like ‘find it’, so that your dog is also mentally stimulated during their stay with us.
