I would take the dog for walks at the local reservoir, or find a closed-in area for them to run around in - play catch with a frisbee to get them running.

Besides my recent move to DC, I’ve never known a home without a dog, having grown up with them my entire life. I’m the guy at the party who goes over to pet the cat/dog. I take directions quite literally and make sure they are followed thoroughly. Every pet deserves all of the love and attention - are their paws dry if it’s rainy? Are they well fed and scratched? My flexible schedule allows more than just morning/afternoon/evening visits and walks - I can also be available for last-minute emergencies.
