Let's woof it up in Amsterdam!
I am a 32 year old Dutch guy currently back in his motherland. I did a housesit through Rover and another platform in Montréal, Canada in January 2019. Before that I lived in the subarctic town of Churchill in Manitoba. Dogs have always had a special place in my heart, especially growing up with a labrador. Working with them in Churchill and before that in Canmore, Alberta gives a great feeling. Whatever it is your dog needs, is what I will bring to them. Love, walks, exercise, water, food or potty breaks. You name it, I give it. So I worked with 31 huskies in the north. Before that I lived in the Canadian Rockies, in Canmore, and worked with 200 sled dogs! In the past I have taken care of dogs of some of my friends all over the world. I did housesits in the Netherlands, Myanmar and Thailand. If you want to know more about these housesits, feel free to ask me anything about it.

We boarded our cat, Kylo, with Daniel for 11 days and he took absolutely amazing care of him! When we came to pick up Kylo, he didn't even want to leave. Daniel was really great at talking through Kylo's needs before we boarded him, and sent us regular updates on how he was doing. It was a big relief knowing he was so well taken care of while we were gone. I would 100% recommend Daniel to any cat or dog parent that needs a great sitter while away!

Schedule
I am a freelancer and work as a spinning instructor and have some hospitality jobs in and around Amsterdam so I have lots of free time.

Safety, trust & environment
Whatever you wish for your dog at home I will try and provide for. If staying at my place then there is a big living room, a small back yard but also lots of open and green space around my house for dog walks.
A typical day
We would go to the dog park, walk around town, play fetch or just cuddle up on the couch or porch. It all depends on what the doggo would like of course :)
