Availability
I’m currently working from home so I’ll be taking really good care of your pup. Lupin loves being outside - he’s an Alaskan boy - so I really take good walks with him (at least 3/day). Usually when I take care of a pet, the owner gives me a list or a brief description of the dog’s schedule. With this I can work well with your dog.

Information Daniel D. would like to know about your pet
Before watching your dog, it really helps me to know: * Feeding details (type of food, portions, how many times a day) * Any medications (what, when, and how to give them) * Potty routine (schedule, fully trained or still learning) * Energy level and exercise needs (walks, hikes, playtime) * Behavior with other dogs and people * Any triggers or things they don’t like * Sleep routine (crate, bed, free roam) * Favorite toys or activities * Any special instructions or quirks The more I know ahead of time, the easier it is to keep their routine consistent and make them feel at home
A typical day
A typical day depends on the dog, but I usually start with a walk to get their energy out and let them explore a bit. After that, it’s feeding time and some relaxed time around the house so they can settle in. During the day I like to mix in playtime (fetch, tug, or just letting them run around), shorter walks, and some downtime so they don’t get overwhelmed. I also really enjoy taking dogs on hikes if they’re up for it — it’s a great way to burn energy and keep them engaged. If your dog enjoys being around other dogs, they can have supervised time with mine. If they prefer their own space, I respect that too. I keep an eye on their routine as well — feeding times, any medications, or just how they’re used to things being done. In the evening, we usually go for another walk and then wind things down so they can relax and feel comfortable.

Pet care experience
I’ve got two dogs at home: Lupin (3, Blue Heeler) and Freya (1 year and a few months, Bloodhound). They keep things pretty active, so I’m used to both high-energy dogs and the slower moments when they finally crash. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always been the normal for me. Dogs, birds, rabbits, turtles, a ferret named Nick — a bit of everything. At one point I also helped take care of a baby tapir that lost her mom and ended up living freely around us. My dogs are friendly and used to being around other dogs and people, and I’m comfortable handling different personalities — shy, energetic, stubborn, you name it. I know how stressful it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I just try to keep things simple: make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting the attention they need while you’re away.
Reviews

10/10 Daniel is awesome! It’s obvious that he genuinely cares for animals and wants to make them happy and feel comfortable. It was really nice knowing our dog Teton was in good hands while we were at work.
