A Dog Lover Working From Home
Hi there! My name is Daniel and I'm an experienced dog sitter working from home. I spend my day working from my laptop while also playing with my French bulldog, Bruno and other Rover dogs. Now with over 170 great reviews here on Rover, I have experience watching all kinds of dogs from small to big, from puppies to seniors. I'm comfortable with all dogs and would be happy to host yours. I've been a dog lover ever since I was a kid and I'd treat your pup as if they were my own. I understand leaving your dog with a stranger in their home may be worrisome. I'd make sure to send you constant pictures and updates throughout your dog's stay so that you can see what they're up to. Your dog will be in great hands! I work from home and spend the majority of the day at home, however, I do need to step out of the house at times. Whether it be to run errands, go to appointments or meetings, or to go out with friends for a few hours in the evening. Please understand this when booking and let me know if your dog is okay with being alone for hours at a time. Your pup will be safe and secured. I plan my outings with the dogs in mind and I make sure they have had time to eat and go outside before I leave. I live in a home with a medium-sized fenced in yard. Your dog will be allowed on furniture and will be welcomed into my home as if they were family.

Took great care of my dog and very flexible about pick up
Daniel seems gentle and calm. He was great with my dog who can be anxious and leash reactive. He was flexible and allowed me to initially bring my dog inside to support the transition. My dog was also willing to go back into Daniel's home for a second time (with other sitters he had refused to go back inside their house).

Schedule
As I already work from home full time, I'll have plenty of time to keep your dog company! I have an open and flexible schedule so I should be able to accommodate for any date and time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in dog with a pup of my own. Your dog will always have other fur friends to play with. The environment is dog-proofed with all little things put away and out of reach from the dogs. Dogs are not kept in crates unless they are already crate trained at home. If your dog sleeps in a crate at home overnight, please bring their own crate along with them.

A typical day
I am located near an open grass area, park and waterfront by the Lake Ontario where I can take your dog and take some nice pictures for you. My french bulldog, Bruno loves to play, no matter what the size of your dog is. He would love to play and spend time with your dog on their visit.
