Pet care experience
Large fenced in yard for playtime.
We are a recently retired couple that have always had dogs and children around and we miss both - maybe the dogs a bit more sometimes! We are typically home all day with a large fenced-in one-acre back yard that your dog can run about in. Kind of dog paradise. We have a pool in the backyard and good swimmers always have a blast here. If your dog isn’t much for water we will keep him/her under close supervision when outside.

Our family spent the weekend in Napa attending a wedding so we needed to find a sitter for our two small dogs during the event. Colette and Daniel have a lovely home with a big fenced-in backyard. We appreciated the fact that our dogs were the only pets there that day since we rarely use dog sitting services. The hosts were also very accommodating for a late pickup since it was an evening wedding. Colette and Daniel were very responsiveness to my inquiries before, during and after the appointment. Thank you so much!
Cannot recommend Colette & Daniel enough! They provided such a beautiful and roomy stay for our pup. They were very communicative, sent pics/videos of him playing & lounging and they have such caring and dedicated personalities. We felt so lucky to have our dog in their care!
We ended up having to cancel our boarding with Daniel & Colette, but I would definitely rebook with them in the future. They were kind, responsive, caring and everything you would want in someone you are entrusting with your pet. Glad to have met them.
Daniel and Colette are the sweetest! Tate had the best time hanging out and cuddling with them. Thank you again for watching her.
Daniel and Colette took such great care of our goober. It was my first time leaving her so I was a bit nervous but they cared for her like she was their own. She came back to us happy and tired!
Millie was so lovingly cared for by Daniel and Colette. Our high energy slightly anxious 2 yr old puppy was so happy and TIRED. They were highly communicative and obviously love dogs. Thank you both so much for taking care of our puppy!! 10/10 will use them in the future.

Schedule
Being retired we are typically around all day. We do sometimes go out for a meal and will go someplace that has outdoor seating so we can bring the dog. We do travel sometimes so we don’t like to book out any further than about 45 maybe 60 days. Also our ideal visit is no longer than three or four days, as taking in you pet is lots of fun for us, but after a few days, we are ready to return to our more typical routine.

We love to play with dogs. Fetch and tug of war are favorites. We like to go on hikes with dogs (on leash of course). Netflix is always better with a dog to cuddle with.
A typical day
We hike a lot. We go to the local dog park (if your dog is well socialized). We even go to the beach sometimes if the dog likes the water. We might have to run an errand but for the most part one of us will be here with the dog. We have a blanket for the back seat of the car and love to go for rides and walks in the Napa/Sonoma area with our dog visitors.
