Daniel can care for
Availability
I’m a college student and just started summer break, so my schedule is very open right now. I’m in the Newport area for the next few weeks and can fully focus on pet care. I’m available most days for walks, check-ins, or longer stays, and I’m flexible with timing. Since I don’t have many other commitments right now, I can give your dog a lot of attention and consistency throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I treat every dog like it’s my own and always make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I follow any instructions you give closely, including feeding, routines, and any special needs. I keep a close eye on dogs during walks and avoid anything that could put them in a bad situation. I’m very attentive, patient, and make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and care while you’re away.
Information Daniel C. would like to know about your pet
It helps to know your dog’s energy level and what they like to do. If they enjoy running, walking, playing fetch, or just relaxing, I can adjust to that. Also good to know any routines, feeding times, or anything I should avoid. If your dog has any quirks or specific needs, just let me know so I can take care of them the right way.
A typical day
A typical day depends on the dog, but I like to keep them active and having fun. I usually take them on walks or runs, then spend time playing like fetch or tug of war. If they like to roughhouse, I’m down for that too. If they’re more chill, I’m happy just hanging out with them and keeping them company. I try to match their energy and make sure they’re getting attention the whole time.

Active college student, I love dogs
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always been super involved in taking care of them. Back home in Michigan, my family has three dogs (a black lab, mountain cur, and German shepherd), so I’m used to handling different sizes and energy levels. Right now I live with my aunt and uncle and help take care of their dog as well. I’m very active and love being outside, so I naturally take dogs on runs, long walks, and spend a lot of time playing with them throughout the day. When I’m watching a dog, I usually keep them on a good routine with exercise, attention, and making sure they’re comfortable. I’m reliable, easygoing, and genuinely enjoy being around dogs, so it never feels like a chore to me.
Reviews
Daniel has been our dog walker for almost a year, and our dog sitter for when we go out of town. He is phenomenal! It can be hard to find a good fit for Trooper, he is a love bug but! he is very high energy and views every squirrel as a personal challenge.. Daniel runs him, walks him, and plays too. By the time Trooper comes back he naps for the rest of the day and is so good! I highly recommend Daniel, you can tell he sincerely loves dogs and enjoys taking the time to walk and spend time with them!
