I work from home, which is the real game-changer here. Pet sitting isn't a side hustle for me—it's something I can genuinely fit into my day without it feeling rushed or like a checklist. When I'm watching your dog, I can check in throughout the day, take them out for bathroom breaks, keep them company during work calls (the calm kind), and make sure they're getting the attention they need. No long gaps where they're waiting alone wondering when someone's coming back. It's flexible too. I can work around your schedule—early morning, afternoons, weekends—because I'm home anyway. Your dog gets consistency and care without me having to squeeze them into an already-packed day.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home: Your dog gets a safe, comfortable space where they're never alone for long. I work from home, so I'm there throughout the day—letting them out for bathroom breaks, keeping them company, and making sure they have water and a calm environment. They'll be treated like they're part of my routine, not an inconvenience. In your home: I respect your space and your dog's routine. I follow your instructions on feeding, walking, medication, or anything else specific to your dog's needs. I'll send updates so you know exactly what's happening, and I treat your home with the same care I'd want for mine. Either way: Safety and trust are everything to me. I know what it's like to care deeply about a dog—I had mine for 13 years. Your dog won't just be fed and let outside; they'll get genuine attention and someone who actually notices if something's off.

Information Daniel B. would like to know about your pet
Every dog is different, and I want to understand your dog before they come to me. The more I know, the better I can care for them. Tell me about their personality. Are they shy or outgoing? High-energy or calm? Do they have any quirks or things that make them nervous? I want to know what makes them feel safe and happy. Routines matter. What time do they usually eat? Any medications or special needs? Do they have a favorite spot to nap? If I know their routine, I can keep things consistent—dogs love that. Health and behavior. Any allergies, joint issues, or things I should watch for? Are there any behaviors I should know about? I want to catch anything off before it becomes a problem. What they love. Do they like walks or prefer chill time? Are there certain toys or treats they go crazy for? I'd love to know what brings them joy. Your expectations. What matters most to you? Updates throughout the day? Photos? Just peace of mind knowing they're loved? I want to give you what you need. The conversation before they come to stay with me is just as important as the care itself. That's how I make sure your dog gets exactly what they need.
A typical day
Morning: We start the day together—bathroom break, fresh water, and I get them settled in with me while I work. There's something peaceful about that routine. Mid-morning: Time for a walk. I love watching dogs enjoy themselves, sniffing around, just being dogs. It's one of my favorite parts of the day. Midday: We hang out together. Maybe some playtime, maybe we just sit together—your dog doesn't need me to be "on" all the time. They just need to know someone's there who cares about them. Afternoon: More time together. I notice the little things—how they're feeling, what makes them happy, what they need. I actually pay attention because I genuinely want to. Late afternoon/evening: Another walk, some cuddles, and making sure they feel secure and loved before the day winds down. Throughout the day: Your dog isn't just being watched—they're being cared for by someone who remembers what it's like to love a dog deeply. I'll make sure they know they matter.

Pet care experience
I'm not a professional with fancy certifications, but I am a dog person. I owned and raised my pit mix from puppyhood for 13 years—so I know what it takes to care for a dog properly, keep them happy, and build real trust. The biggest advantage? I work from home. That means while I'm watching your dog, they're never alone for long stretches. They get consistent attention, regular breaks outside, and someone who actually cares about their wellbeing—not just a checkbox on a care log. Your dog won't just be watched; they'll be treated like they matter to me, because they will.
Reviews
He did a great job taking care of our two dogs. They got lots of walks and were very happy. They recognize him now and are excited to see him when he comes.
Danny is great with animals and especially dogs! We always ask him to watch our dogs when we are out of town. We have two dogs who love the long walks Danny takes them on. Teddy and Pebble may like Danny more than they like us! One of our dogs is large and strong and that’s no problem for Danny. Danny goes above and beyond in treating your dog exactly as you would (or maybe even better!)
