I come from an animal family, cats, dogs, a raccoon, horses. Both my senior pups passed in the spring of 2026, so currently it's just me. I work from home, so I am here all day for daycare or boarding. I don't have a fence, but would always put a dog I am hosting on a leash for walks and potty breaks. Both my dogs were special needs, an Addisonian/low thyroid and a diabetic, so meds/shots are not a concern.

It is so nice to be able to go away and not worry about the ones that mean the most to us - our dogs! Daniel was so great! My Roscoe has pretty bad anxiety and I sensed none picking him up, he was so relaxed. Thank you a million Dan!

Daniel took very good care of Tucker and we felt very comfortable leaving Tucker in a home that seemed so loving and caring. Also, Daniel was very accommodating when our flight was canceled and we needed an extra day of care. Tucker seemed to get along well with Daniel's dogs. We look forward to using Daniel again.
Daniel has cared for our goofy rescue guy several times. Gus loves Daniel and his two friendly rescues. Gus goes happily to Daniel and is calm and content when we pick him up. He gets walks, treats and cuddles. I can’t say enough good about the care Daniel gives his visiting pets. Gus has stayed one day and for more than 2 weeks and it has always been an excellent experience. And when you know your furry friend is having a great time, you can relax and enjoy without concern!
We could tell our dog took to Daniel right away. Since our pup is elderly and has limitations, we have always been a little anxious about leaving him in a home with other dogs, but there were no issues and I think our guy even enjoyed having other older, less intrusive dogs around. Daniel went the extra mile in caring for our pet.
CeCe enjoyed another great time with Daniel and his dogs. Daniel is a real professional and CeCe is always happy to spend time at his home.

Schedule
I work from home, so I am here all day. Several potty breaks during the day, and a quick walk on my lunch if it isn't raining.

Safety, trust & environment
I don't have a fence, but would always use a leash with your dog. I live on an acre corner lot, so there's lots of room. I'm in a quiet sub without a lot of traffic.
Pets
A typical day
There are tons of toys to play with, and the house is large so lots of room to play and move around. I will respect your wishes for treats. Sometimes we walk next door to visit our dog neighbor and get a special treat.
