Hi my name is Danica.. I'm a house cleaner with some extra time on my hands looking to care for dogs, cats and homes. My flexible work schedule allows for me to be able to drop by your home and care for your pet throughout the day and night. I personally owned 2 dogs for years as a kid and my 2 cats that were my babies for over 15 years have both now recently passed away. So now I am pet-less and would love some time with other people's pets. When house sitting I'll be staying overnight and have no problem also doing some cleaning while I'm there. Safety, trust & environment
I'll be in your home, so your pets will already be in a safe space. Unless otherwise directed dogs are not left outside on their own and cats are not let outside at all. Doors are always kept locked. I also request that you leave the name and number of an emergency contact in the event something happens while you're away, either to your pets or your home, and I can't get ahold of you or need someone that's able to be a little more hands on with their help!

We booked Danica last minute as there was a family emergency we had to attend. First impression we believed our pets would be safe and in great hands. There was little to no communication unless prompted regarding our pets, and no photos updates to see that they were doing okay as we had received from previous dog sitters. This raised a red flag for us and we began monitoring her coming and going from the house. She left our pets unattended for long periods of time. At one point they were left for 13 hours without advising us that her other job had went longer than expected until after the fact when we called her out on it. This was near the end of our trip and she never messaged us again after that. We asked if our pets were safe, and if there had been any accidents in the house we should know about. We got no responses so we had no idea what we were going to walk into when we arrived home. Having a senior dog and one that is still very much a puppy this was concerning. It added an extra layer of stress to an already stressful situation. If you value the safety of your pets I would not book with Danica.
Danica was communicative and flexible leading into the booking and met at our house to meet our pets to ensure a good fit. She left the home clean and orderly at the end of the booking. There were two occasions that we found where our animals were inside for 16+ hours without being let out and we had to make other arrangements on our own with a family member. It doesn’t appear the dogs were walked despite it being communicated beforehand. It appears one of the nights the pets were left alone overnight and was one of the 16+ hours they were not out.
We came home to a clean house, shoveled walks, and most important a healthy and happy pup!
Danica's 2-week stay with our border terrier gave us peace of mind during our trip. She was quick to pick up on all the details we provided and even thought to check on a few we missed. Whenever we were looking for an update, she sent a clear and concise message. We returned to a tidy dust-free home with squeaky clean floors and nicely shoveled walks. Thanks, Danica, for such good care of Bobbin and our home!
Danica looked after our three pets and did an amazing job. The house was cleaner than when we left it, and the pets seemed to really take a liking to her. Thanks for the pictures and updates, will be booking with you again in the future!

Schedule
I am self employed so my schedule is fairly flexible. Generally speaking though, some days I work 4 hours, while others it might be 8. I always work a full day every other Friday. In the evenings I take ballet 3 days a week, so I'm usually gone from about 6-9pm. I also clean a couple of offices,one Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 3 hours, another Wednesday nights for 2 hours and again on Sundays for the same number of hours. Another is 4 hours anytime on the weekends. Anytime I'm not out doing my own thing, I'll be at your home with your pets.

- Please notify me of any potential issues with agressive behavior towards certain people/places/pets. Please notify me of any routines including feeding schedule. I also like to have the name and number for the vet that you use, WiFi password, emergency contact info, key /lock code info, parking info if needed, leash location, garbage day, mail box location if needed, plant watering schedule if applicable and if you have any service people or other visitors that may be entering the property or home while I'm there. Please also let me know what your expectations are in terms of photos and updates in regards to your pets. My standard update frequency would be once on arrival and then every other day during the sit and then when I leave for the last time as well. Hopefully it goes without saying though that of course if anything happens to your pets or home I will reach out right away.
