Trustworthy drop-ins and walks
Sometimes life can have you away from your pets for long stretches. Even when you're at home, there are days when you could use an extra hand with your pets. Drop-in dog and cat visits and dog walks can help put your mind at ease! When you book me for drop-in care or dog walks, you get someone who is: + Reliable, trustworthy, local care + Lifelong dog owner and cat lover + Experience gained from walking a wide range of shelter dogs + Fear-Free trained with a focus on animal behavior and handling + Pet first aid certified I grew up on a farm with horses, cattle, dogs, cats, and chickens, and animals have always been an important part of my life. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve provided drop-in pet care and petsitting for family and friends. I was also a volunteer dog walker at the Denver Animal Shelter, where I gained experience walking all kinds of dogs, from chihuahuas to a young Irish wolfhound. The shelter provided training opportunities on dog and cat behavior, and I've completed the comprehensive Fear-Free Shelters training as well as pet first aid certification. My ultimate goal is to complete canine massage certification, in addition to providing pet care and dog walking. For me, pets are a passion, not a side hustle.

I’m available to provide drop-in care and dog walking. To get started, I appreciate first doing a meet-and-greet so that we can make sure that I’m a good fit for your needs. What makes a good visit for your dog or cat? My goal is to give them a great drop-in visit or walk, so we’ll talk about how to make that happen. What makes a good experience for you? Your trust is important to me, so we’ll cover communication, emergency plans, and other issues that will help put you at ease while your pets are in my care.

Danica did an awesome job checking on my cats while I was out of town. She took the time to get to know them and hang out with them, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Danica did an outstanding job watching my pup over a long weekend. She was very considerate while staying at my house, but more importantly she was very considerate and attentive to my pup. She kept her entertained even when it was raining outside and provided unexpectedly artistic pictures throughout each day. Would definitely recommend!
Denise was very attentive to both cat’s, provided many photos and details, and was very nice to communicate with! She clearly cares deeply for the needs and wants of the animal!

Schedule
*I work from home as a freelancer which gives me a lot of control over my day and the flexibility to meet your scheduling needs. *My service area is set so that I'm confident I can make it to your place. *Also, I don't typically travel over holidays but stay local.
