I've been the go-to sitter for my everyone in my circle of friends. I've been petsitting for 5 years. I've taken care of pets with medicinal needs such as diabetes, seizures and daily medication. I'm comfortable with most breeds; I've taken care of dogs as small as a Yorkshire Terrier to a dog as large as a Newfoundland.

Safety, trust & environment
To make sure the pets are comfortable with me, I usually like to request to see the pets a week before I am scheduled to watch them. For dogs: I will ask for the dog to be spayed or neutered. If the dog is reactive, I will not take them out on walks for both mine and the animal’s safety. However, like my own pet, I will designate a play time to help expend energy in the safety & familiarity of the home. For cats: it's really whatever the cat is comfortable with. I will make sure that they have a clean litter box every night. Regardless of pet, I make sure they are fed on time with fresh water available. To ensure a stress-free time while mom and/or dad are away, I am willing to adapt to cater to the pet's comfortability.

Danica has watched my dogs multiple times while my family and I went on vacation. She was very thorough with her care and following the instructions we left behind! She sent us pictures daily and even helped us with some grooming needs. She is incredibly knowledgeable on dog behaviors and dog training so she knows how to deal with multiple pets! She is truly a kind hearted, genuine person so it makes it incredibly easy for pets to trust and love her. She is respectful of other people’s homes and rules and will make sure you come back to a happy pet and a happy home!
Danica has been our pet sitter for over two years, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my babies. Our pack can definitely be a handful, but she handles them with patience, care, and grace. She goes above and beyond, especially with our epileptic Frenchie. She carefully follows his medication regimen and feeding schedule while balancing a full-time job, which speaks volumes about her dedication and reliability. Danica is also an excellent communicator. She always reaches out with any questions or concerns and keeps us updated, giving us complete peace of mind whenever we're away. We couldn't recommend her more highly!
Danica has always gone above and beyond caring for our pets. Our golden retriever has anxiety and our lab mix has diabetes, so, between the two, it's a lot to deal with! Danica has never had any trouble following our labs care schedule and giving him his insulin at the appropriate times. She's wonderful with them and our dogs and cat love her! Wouldn't want anyone else watching our fur babies.

Schedule
I work a 9-5 job, but if the home is close enough to where I work regularly, then i will stop by and check on the pets on my lunch. Outside of my work hours, I usually strive to keep their routines as close to their normal as possible. I typically send photos or updates throughout the day--either in the morning when we wake up and in the evening before bed--to provide the assurance mom and/or dad need for their babies. For cats, I typically make sure their litter boxes are cleaned out before bed, every night during my stay.
