ICU Nurse & Dog Lover
I am a nurse and animal lover, and have been taking care of people and pets for years! I love to be outside and enjoy going for walks and visiting local parks, and it’s always better with a dog. If you need medications administered I am comfortable with that as well. I grew up in the country with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks, horses, you name it. I had my own leopard hound mix for 14 years, he passed recently and am looking to fill the gap. I babysit for friends and family, as well as fostering for local rescues. I’ve also spent some time with dog trainers, and enjoy doing classroom time with pups. I understand pets are our children, and will treat yours like my own. Im looking forward to giving time and love to your fur babies!

Danica takes the best care of my girl, Mara. Shes awesome at sending me updates and pictures! I feel so at ease whenever I drop Mara off knowing that she’ll get lots of love while I’m away. Mara comes home exhausted after all of the activity and fun she gets to do with Danica!
Danica was super friendly and easy to work with. My cat was being a bit difficult for her but she was patient and understanding of the situation. Would definitely book her again.
Danica was so good about sending pictures and updates about my dog! She took her for plenty of walks and lots of other adventures. I know my girl felt lots of love while I was gone! I had piece of mind that I left her in great hands.

Schedule
I have a pretty flexible schedule working per diem as an RN. I am currently available about 4-5 days during the week, and am sometimes free on the weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fenced outdoor patio and live in a community with miles of sidewalks and grassy areas. There is also a fenced in dog park and run. It’s a gated community, so I’ll need your information prior to entering, but your pups will be safe while they stay! I am married, so there will be a male in the home- who is also an animal lover and has grown up with dogs his entire life.
A typical day
I love to get outside every day! We will be going for walks throughout the neighborhood, and if you have a social dog I’m happy taking them out and about with me.
