Howdy fellow dog lovers! My name is Dania and I'm currently completing my masters in counseling at UTSA! My favorite things in life are: long drives, running, being outdoors, cooking, and of course.. dogs! I've only ever been on Rover to search for sitters but I have some unexpected career changes occurring this May so I figured why not try Rover out as a sitter (hence the lack of reviews). But I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and as the oldest child, I was basically the designated pup caretaker. I've also had several dogs myself throughout my adulthood and have dog sitted for friends and family as well! From bath time to belly rubs, feeding schedules to medication routines (shoutout to my childhood dog with epilepsy), I’ve done it all. Taking care of dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I love. I’m a huge animal advocate and truly believe every dog deserves all the love, care, and comfort in the world. Fun fact: I once wrote a letter to a former president advocating against kill shelters—and they actually wrote me back! 🐶✉️ These days, I share my home with my 3-year-old cocker spaniel, who’s full of energy and always ready to make new friends—unless you’re a German Shepherd (he’s working through some past trauma, but aren’t we all?).
