Information Dani H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know any special accommodations that are needed for your pet and I will do my best to oblige. Please definitely let me know if there is anything in particular that scares them or makes them nervous. My goal is to always make them feel safe in my presence. For daycare or boarding at my home: We have no pets, which works well for taking care of your puppers, but we also need to make sure we all feel comfortable with each other, so a meet-up will always be required before welcoming a new pup at Auntie's. We will not allow any active flea situations, intact males, or females in heat into our home. We have had amazing experiences having doggos at our home and one of us is home 99% of the time. Obviously, if your dog cannot be left alone, it's paramount that we know that;) I look forward to meeting you and your fur family. I absolutely love the bond I'm building with so many pets and pet parents around the island!
A typical day
I love entertaining pets to their level of need. You wanna play fetch? You wanna go for a walk? Perhaps you just want to watch some Dog TV on YouTube or lay around and get scratches. I'm here to serve! I love when I can do yard work and the doggos can hang in the yard with me, but otherwise, we take lots of potty breaks and go on a daily walk if they're up for it.

Pet care experience
I've had pets my entire life. Our family pets all passed from old age in 2022, before we moved to Kauai, and we haven't yet adopted. I'm missing pet ownership desperately, so hoping I can get my fill loving on your babies. Our cat was like a dog... the coolest cat ever. I got her as a kitten when my kids were babies and she lived to 20. Our Chihuahua was adopted from a shelter and had some serious childhood issues. He was a nervous wreck, so we decided to get him a puppy to show him how to just be a dog. We adopted a 4 month old Weimaraner from a shelter after someone gave her up because she was "too much". Too much she sure was, but she was also the most loyal, funny dog too. She did teach the Chihuahua how to be a dog and changed his life forever. Our Chihuahua passed at 19 and our Weimaraner at 14, within a few months of each other... heart breaking. My experience ranges from kittens to elderly cats, puppies to elderly dogs... plus a bunny, chickens, rats, an iguana.... and taking care of a friend's farm animals while they were out of town. We've fostered quite a few kittens and every time we go on vacation, we have a cat or dog that adopts us at the beach, at our lodging... it never fails, they know we are animal people.. and it's really special💖 I look forward to taking care of your fur babies as if they are my own💖

I am very picky when it comes to anyone dog sitting my little Gizmo. When visiting Kauai I was in need of a sitter. I found Dani and set up a meet & Greet. Right away my husband and I felt good energy and vibes with Dani. Dani’s property is beautiful and a big yard. Her home was clean. We could see that the animals she was caring for was loved, and well taken care of. We highly recommend Dani if you’re looking for a kind responsible person who will love your dog like part of the family. I hope to be back to Kauai again and will definitely be using Dani in the future.
I told my pup that she was going to “summer camp“ and I was not wrong! Lucy had the time of her life, and Dani sent me the most adorable pictures of my dog individually and as part of the pack. 🤗🐾 Dani makes sure everything is fair and equal so no pup gets jealous. There are enough dog toys and dog beds for everyone. Dani and Tom are the best pack leaders/puppy camp counselors we could wish for! Their property is beautiful and spacious as is their house. They run a doggy daycare during the day and have overnight pups as well. The socialization was excellent for my Miss Lucy! I plan to use their services again when I go to the mainland in a month.
