My full time job has me from around 3pm to 1am to do check ins during my lunch on weekdays. My schedule will be around 30-40 hours in the week and availability on alternating Wednesdays, Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays, early Sundays and overnight.

I take notes of each animals routine and ensure that they are taken for a long walk, engage in playtime, do clicker or sound association training and overall enrichment. I ensure that they follow house rules set up by the owner (allowed on furniture or practice leash walking skills, etc.) Any medications/prescription diets, potty training help needed, avoidance of other animals or triggers while outside will be followed. I want to ensure your dog is comfortable as if you were still there.

I would like to know if there are any health conditions that I should be aware of, emergency contacts or vets in case of an emergency, if the dog gets along with other dogs or prefers to have limited interaction with other pet owners, along with disabilities such as being deaf, blind, or having any surgeries that could act up.
A typical day
I like to go on trails or plan out long walks to new areas that allow dogs to run around and be safe. I choose areas that I prefer for my own dog that aren't too far away nor make them feel that they are getting cheated out of a long haul. I absolutely love to play with dog toys when available, giving rewards such as scratches or treats and helping dogs learn basic tricks and commands.

I am currently working at MedVet as a CSR/Relief Triage Nurse (hoping to become a vet tech) for my full time job (Sunday thru Tuesday with alternating Wednesday from 3pm to 1am) which still allows me to work with animals. I have been trained on CPR for dogs, cats and small animals and SQ fluid administration and injections and learning more every night! I worked at the Idaho Humane Society as an ACA with the dogs, cats and many small animals and also took care of my own afterwards (my dog Abby who has been on a urinary diet and my turtle Bentley). I have been taught on proper leash training, puppy care, working with senior dogs and special needs (blind, arthritis, hearing impaired, missing legs, obese dogs, hair conditions, etc.) Distributing medication via oral, eye meds, ear medication, pills/capsule distribution are also in my expertise. I have the basic knowledge for cats as well (oral medication, litter box cleaning, grooming, and proper scruff holding). I have been able to administer vaccine medication (subcanteous and insulin) and have worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, many different backgrounds (strays, anxious dogs, barrier reactive, resource guarding dogs, hoarding cases, abused/neglected dogs and bonded pairs).

We were very happy with the communication throughout the stay — Dani checked in regularly and kept us updated, which we really appreciated. Our dogs and home were well cared for overall.
Dani was great! I appreciated how they wanted to do a meet and greet prior to accepting. Dani was super responsive leading up the boarding and throughout. I loved getting pictures of Tillie while being sat. Dani took great care of my house- you could hardly tell they were even there!
Dani was great! She sent updates and pictures of our dogs and was great at communicating.
Dani is great! My pup was well taken care for, and I appreciated the updates. I plan on using Dani again!
