Hi, I’m Dani😄. I recently discovered Rover and decided to join the app! Two populations in the world I enjoy spending my time with are individuals with disabilities and animals. Along with my passion in spending time with dogs, I am a Registered Behavior Technician and provide 1:1 direct therapy with individuals with disabilities. My niche is kiddos with Autism and other neurological/developmental disorders. I am currently working towards my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, finding fun activities to do in my area (if your dog is into that), and overall providing comfort and a safe environment for your dog to roam in, play in, and be sure to have his needs met. I’m all about making sure families feel comfortable and trust leaving their doggos with me:)

Theo is clearly at home with Dani and her Bruno, his best bud. Long walks and beach visits are highlights and Theo comes home happy and tired. Dani loves her dogs and it shows in the special attention and intuitiveness she gives them and has.
Dani loves on the dogs and really wants them to feel comfortable. She was also very responsive and accommodating when I had a last-minute need. I’m grateful I found her!

Schedule
I normally like taking dogs out around every two hours. Depending on the age of the puppy, I may go outside more frequently if necessary. I enjoy catering to dogs and their specific routine/needs. My dog is also very flexible in adapting to other dog’s routines which has always been nice.

I love to provide as much comfort as I can when families leave their dogs with us. My home has become a free for all for dogs to get comfortable. I love to provide dog enrichment as well. I am always keeping a bowl of water out for the dog as well as sticking to your dog’s feeding schedule. I allow dogs to lay on my couch, my dog’s beds, and even my bed as well.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks down to the lake, and around my neighborhood. I also have access to two other buildings in my area, so I am fortunate to have two different dog runs for your dog to run in in case of brutal weather). Me and my dog also love to play fetch outside at the park, and take drives in my car with the windows down… if your dog like that as well! I enjoy implementing ABA (applied behavior analysis) interventions when training my dog. So if you would like me to train your dog how to walk appropriately during walk time, and teach them basic skills and tricks In the summers, I enjoy taking the dogs to the beach and anything that will expose them to other dogs to socialize with *if applicable*
