Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Dana and I love animals, especially dogs and cats - big ones, small ones and those in-between. :) I had a English Springer spaniel as a kid, I've been a pet-sitter for friends and neighbours and I used to be a volunteer dogwalker for the Toronto Humane Society, so I'm comfortable with many different doggo breeds and personalities. And while I personally don't have a dog right now - we just adopted two rescue kittens! - my family is eager to adopt a pup in the future.

A typical day
Dogs love getting out and "smelling the news" of the neighbourhood. I let them take their time and sniff around for the mental stimulation while also making sure they burn off some energy. I'm also very respectful of a dog's temperament, so whether they need lots of reassurance or a good exercise session (or both), I'm ready to help.

Availability
My schedule is pretty flexible. I'm a stay-at-home Mom and I like to wake up super-early in the morning (yes, on weekends, too!), so if AM walks aren't your thing, I can help. I'm also available some afternoons and early evenings (until roughly 7:30 p.m.)
