Working from home allows me to be available daily, giving your fur-baby the attention they deserve. We start our day with a morning walk. Throughout the day, I stay flexible and engage in light training (sit, down, wait) that includes treats! We go for an afternoon walk that allows them to get their energy out and rest immediately after. In the evening, they get their final walk before bed.

Safety, trust & environment

In my home, I create a safe and comfortable environment for pets by ensuring there are secure spaces for them to roam and relax. My fur-babies are friendly and well-behaved, and I make sure that the space remains peaceful and inviting for all pets. I have pet-proofed my home, ensuring there are no hazards like harmful plants or open trash cans. I also keep a close eye on playtime and interaction to ensure all pets are safe and happy. I follow any specific instructions provided for feeding, medication, or care. I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable so I make sure to provide them with lots of attention and care, while maintaining their usual routine as much as possible.

Information Dana W. would like to know about your pet

It’s important to know a few key details about a pet ahead of time to ensure I can provide the best care. Here’s what I typically like to learn: 1. Daily Routine: feeding times, walk schedule, and any other daily routines 2. Health & Medication: Any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs (such as medication or dietary restrictions) 3. Behavioral Preferences: how your pet interacts with others, whether they are shy, energetic, or have any specific fears (such as with other dogs or loud noises) 4. Favorite Activities & Comfort Items: what activities they enjoy (like playing fetch, cuddling, or exploring) or any favorite toys or blankets 5. Household Environment: If they are accustomed to being around other pets or children, or if there are any specific house rules (like staying off furniture).

Loving Care for Your Fur-Baby!

Pet care experience

What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong passion for dogs. I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Rottweilers, and I was always the one most eager to care for them. That has given me the confidence and skills to ensure your fur-baby gets the love and attention they need. Speaking of fur-babies, I’m a dog mom myself, with two fur-babies — Koko, a sweet mix of 50% Shih Tzu, 25% Pekingese, 12.5% Maltese, and 12.5% Mi-Ki (yes, I got her DNA tested!), and then there’s Kam, my lively Mini Schnauzer who’s always curious and full of energy. This experience has made me particularly attuned to both the playful and more tender needs of pets, whether they’re puppies needing extra training or senior dogs requiring special care. My goal is to make sure your fur-baby feels comfortable, loved, and well-cared for, just like I do with my own.

Dana is an amazing dog mom and dog lover! She is super responsive and caring/thoughtful! Also, very flexible! She also works from home which is a huge plus! I ALWAYS recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter for their beloved fur babies. You can trust that the stay will be a pleasant experience for all parties involved. Thanks Dana! :)
