5 years on Rover- Home full time!
Hi! Im Dana. I’ve been pet sitting on the Rover platform for the past 5 years. I'm a full time stay at home mom, so my availability is very flexible! I would be here with your pup all day to give them plenty of attention and take them out to potty frequently. I’m currently only accepting small breed pups under 30lbs. I own two Great Danes who were raised from puppyhood sharing their space with our guest dogs of all breeds and sizes! However since I already have two large dogs, I can currently only host small breeds due to space restrictions in my home. I have three children in my home as well so it’s important that your pup be socialized and friendly with children. I understand that it’s stressful leaving your baby with someone else. I will stay in touch with you daily sending updates and pictures so you can know exactly what we’ve been up to. NOTE: I do not accept anymore than 4 guest pups at a time. This is to ensure that each of them are getting the amount of time and attention they deserve. You can let me know your pets typical daily schedule at home and I will try my best to stick as close to that as possible! I prefer that all pets be crated overnight or anytime we are away from home. This is for the safety of all pets in my care, my home and family. However if you are adamantly against crates, we can discuss alternatives.

Dana is awesome! I was hesitant to leave my Sophie with anyone after a bad experience at a kennel/ boarding facility, but I read Dana's reviews and decided to take a chance. She only had her for 2 nights and 1 day, but she was in contact with me several times and sent multiple videos and pictures. Sophie had a great time and Dana will be my go-to dog sitter from here on out. She treated Sophie like one of her own and you can't get better than that. I highly recommend her!!
I can always count on Dana to take great care of my pups when I am out of town. She love them like her very own.
Dana has become my fur baby’s family away from family!! I will continue to entrust her with Milo’s care, She’s awesome!
Dana was so amazing with my Milo. We loved the videos she sent, treat bag, and oh so cute bandana. Milo was well taken care of, and spoiled. I 100% recommend Dana to care for any fur baby. She was so flexible and understanding!!

Programa
We have a pretty relaxed and simplified schedule. All dogs are walked upon waking up in the morning and then breakfast is soon to follow. Beyond that the rest of the day is filled with play or walks or cuddles depending on the day, dogs temperament and wether ect. Later in the evening dinner will be fed, shortly after the last potty break before bed and then we do it all again the next day!

I do have a fenced in backyard for supervised playtime however I typically just walk all dogs on a leash for potty breaks so that I can clean up after them.

Please also provide your pets crate, food, a leash, bowls and a bed or blanket that they like to sleep on. My pick up/drop off hours for boarders are from 8am-8pm. Any pick ups or drop offs outside of those hours will need to be booked and scheduled for the prior or following day. I do require proof of vaccines, that your pet be on a flea and tick preventative and a negative fecal test atleast within the past 12 months prior to any bookings. Please also give me a definitive time for all drop offs and pick ups prior to booking so that I can plan accordingly.
