I love engaging pets in a variety of fun activities to keep them active and happy! For dogs, I enjoy taking them on walks or hikes, playing fetch at the park, and setting up obstacle courses for some playful training. With cats, I offer interactive play sessions using feather wands or laser pointers to stimulate their natural hunting instincts. I also set up cozy spaces for them to explore and relax, ensuring they feel secure and entertained. I’m always open to trying new activities based on the pet’s preferences, ensuring that each day is filled with fun and enrichment!

** I’m home full-time during stays, so your pet gets consistent care, attention, and companionship throughout the day.** I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of who I am. I’ve looked after a wide range of breeds including Labs, Goldendoodles, Dachshunds, Maltipoos, Pomeranians, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, and more. Many of my clients have become repeat clients, including one dachshund I’ve been consistently caring for twice a week for almost a year while his owner is at work. I’m also experienced with longer-term house sitting and can be flexible around ongoing care routines. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, including post-surgery recovery, administering medication, and dogs wearing cones or needing extra attention and patience. I’m also very comfortable with cats of all personalities—both social and more shy or skittish cats. I grew up with a very timid cat, so I understand how important it is to give animals space, patience, and a calm presence. I started pet sitting because I genuinely love animals, and while I can’t commit to having one full-time right now, I enjoy being able to care for and bond with them through my work. I work remotely 8–5, so I’m home throughout the day. My job is not meeting-heavy, which allows me to provide consistent attention, playtime, walks, and companionship. I take pride in being reliable, communicative, and making sure both pets and owners feel comfortable and updated throughout the stay! 😊

Dana was an amazing house/dog/cat sitter and I couldn't recommend her more highly. She had to deal with our very high energy puppy, anxious small dog and elusive cat and she did a wonderful job with all three. It was also such a relief to come home to a house that was even cleaner than we left it!
Dana was amazing! She was able to make friends with my older, and a bit stubborn Dachshund Zeppelin. She was punctual and took great care of him while I was away. It was a great feeling knowing that my buddy was being cared for in a loving and safe manner. I will have her care for him again without a doubt.
