I care for every pet as if they were my own and work to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you're away. Whether you have cats, dogs, fish, birds, or other small and exotic pets, I'll follow your care instructions carefully and make sure their individual needs are met. For dogs, this includes feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. For cats, I'll provide fresh food and water, litter box maintenance, enrichment, and affection based on their comfort level. I'm also happy to care for fish, birds, reptiles, and other pets by maintaining their feeding schedules, cleaning habitats as needed, and monitoring their overall well-being. I'm comfortable administering medications when required and will keep a close eye on your pet's health and behavior. During each visit, I'll provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I'll also treat your home with respect and leave it clean, tidy, and secure.

Hi there! I'm Dana, a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish, rats and other exotic animals. I currently have two cats and an axolotl myself, and throughout my life I've helped care for everything from energetic puppies and independent cats, to birds, aquatic critters, and other unique companions. I believe every animal is different and deserves patient, individualized care. One of the most important lessons I've learned over the years is that trust takes time, and building a positive relationship with a pet starts with kindness, consistency, and understanding their unique personality. Whether your pet is outgoing and playful or shy and cautious, I take the time to help them feel safe and comfortable. When caring for your pets, I treat them as if they were my own. Whether it's daily walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship while you're away, my goal is to ensure your pets are happy, comfortable, well cared for, and that you have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. I'm committed to providing regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Dana is amazing with our two big dogs Micolash and Nicknack. My partner and I travel a lot and it was always a struggle to find someone willing to look after two large, lovely but energetic dogs. We’ve never had an issue, she treats them with the same kindness and care that we would, she’s incredibly patient and calm. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone who will love you’re pet like you do and who isn’t afraid of a challenge.
Dana is a very wonderful and caring person, she is very gentle with dogs. Not only she is very great to be around, she also cares so much about her surroundings. She took care of my puppy one time when I had a busy schedule at work. She is also very nice and chill to others. I really appreciate her motivation to take care of pets, especially dogs. I really can’t recommend her enough.
Dana and I have been coworkers for a couple years now, anytime me or my family goes out of town she's always the first person we call to watch our dogs. They can be a little skiddish but dana is so gentle and patient that they warmed up to her right away!
