Hello! I have been an animal lover my whole life, and taking care of them since I got my first pet (cat) at age twelve. A few years ago I did house/pet sits while backpacking around England and Wales, taking care of homes, gardens, and pets in exchange for a free place to stay (with plenty of free time to see the sights). I enjoy the change of scenery and the serenity of animal companionship. I offer both drop-in and full-time house sits. I'm reliable, punctual, and follow instructions to the letter. I am also polite and considerate houseguest, very mindful of my surroundings and always keep my living space clean and tidy. My top priority is to make sure your pet(s) are happy and safe until their family returns. That includes making sure they have everything they need regarding food, toys and attention. I also do check-ins with the client every few days for peace of mind.

Unfortunately, this did not go as well as we had hoped it would from reading the other reviews of this sitter. She was scheduled to stay with our two cats for four nights. After telling us that she had arrived, she did not contact us again with any updates or photos for over 24 hours, and then only after receiving two increasingly concerned texts from us. She did not leave the blinds or balcony door open for the cats until we saw photos of a dark living room and asked her to open them, even though we had expressly stated both verbally and in writing that the balcony was where the cats liked to hang out. Finally, we came home to a half-full water bowl and a litter box with a caked crust of hardened, urine-soaked litter covering almost the entire surface area of the box, underneath a layer of clean litter, and it took over a half hour to clean. We wish her well and hope this was an aberration, but we would not hire this pet sitter again.
Dana took very good care of our 16 yo dog while we were away. She kept house clean and neat, watered my plants and brought in paper. Prompt communication while we were away. Thank you Dana, life went on as usual for Ms Lola🥰
