My lifelong love of cats began with my mom’s senior calico cat, Patches. She was far more patient than I deserved and rode around in that babydoll stroller like a queen. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to adopt and foster some of the sweetest, quirkiest felines. As a foster, my specialty is anxious personalities who need extra support to come out of their shells. I have experience caring for kittens, seniors, multiples, disabilities, and personalities big and small. Being away from furry family members is hard and I understand the excitement of that first scoop and snuggle when you’re back home. My goal is to prioritize your cat’s individual needs in thoughtful, consistent ways while maintaining as much normalcy as possible until they’re back in your arms. Safety, trust & environment
The more information you can share regarding your pet’s habits, preferences, and favorite hiding spots, the better! This information allows me to care for your pet as efficiently and unobtrusively as possible. It takes a lot of trust to welcome someone into your home while they care for your family member and it’s not something I take for granted. During a typical visit, we’ll tackle the great outdoors right away for a bathroom break. Then I like to complete any food or water needs so that the last part of the visit can be solely focused on affection for your pet.

Dana is great with animals. She has a gift of mirroring the energy and enthusiasm of all sorts of pets; from sassy tabbies, rambunctious golden retrievers, mellow munchkins, to lumbering danes and beyond. She has the utmost respect for the individual personalities of animals, and a natural ability to get to know and understand their quirks. She has fostered cats for HSEC and Saving Graces for Felines, and is a regular go-to for her friend group when pet care is needed. She is dependable, thoughtful, caring, empathetic, and dedicated.
Dana is absolutely amazing with our dogs! She’s reliable, attentive, and treats them like her own. Every time we’ve needed her, she’s gone above and beyond. From giving them plenty of playtime and walks to sending updates and photos so we can see how happy they are. We always feel completely at ease knowing Dana is caring for them. We can’t recommend her enough!

I’m currently very flexible with scheduling. Showing up consistently for your family is very important to me and strict adherence to the established schedule is very easy during the available time slots.
