Hi! I have been dog sitting with Rover since 2018 and also have volunteered at the Humane Society many times. I currently have a 13 year old male fox terrier who is full of energy. We travel often ourselves and I understand how difficult it is to find a sitter that you trust, so I understand how important it is and how frequent updates ease your mind. I'm also willing to be flexible as I know that the hours listed may not work for everyone. Please be sure your dog is housebroken. I would like to do a meet & greet for all stay-overs to be sure both my dog and yours are comfortable.

Dana was an absolute lifesaver for our pups!! The hotel we booked claimed to be dog friendly, but it was not. We got super lucky that Dana was able to take them for the few days we were in town. Our pups felt right at home with her! Dana treated them like her own and we couldn’t appreciate her, her dog Theo, and her family more. She sent great updates and pictures. We were able to enjoy our time on vacation and we didn’t worry about our pups at all. Can’t say enough good things about her but would 100% recommend her and would book with her again!!

I have a fenced in yard and one 13 year old, very friendly dog. He's usually more interested in people than dogs but will usually play for a bit if the time is right! I typically send 2-3 photos and updates throughout the day so you know what your pet has been up to. Happy to adjust as needed so everyone feels in the loop.

A typical day
We walk the neighborhood regularly throughout the day and hang in the backyard or on the fenced in porch. If inside, we usually snuggle on the couch while watching tv. Dogs are welcome to bring their own bed or hop in ours.

Availability
I'm currently working from home M-F so your pet will have plenty of company. If we go out, it's for 3 hrs max and after the work day. I always walk them before I leave to be sure they are relaxed while I'm away. I also use a camera inside so I can check on them if I'm out.
