Hi! I have been dog sitting with Rover since 2018 and also have volunteered at the Humane Society many times. We travel often ourselves and I understand how difficult it is to find a sitter that you trust, so I understand how important it is and how frequent updates ease your mind. I'm also willing to be flexible as I know that the hours listed may not work for everyone.

Lestat loved his stay with Dana and her family. They were flexible and accommodating with scheduling. I received pictures of Lestat as he settled into his new surroundings, which were comfortable and clean. They handled his energy in stride. Would definitely have Lestat stay with Dana again!

Schedule
I'm currently working from home MWF so your pet will have plenty of company. If I'm in the office, its short days. If we go out, it's for 3 hrs max and after the work day. I always walk them before I leave to be sure they are relaxed while I'm away. I also use a camera inside so I can check on them if I'm out.

I have a fenced in yard and one 13 year old, very friendly dog. He's usually more interested in people than dogs but will usually play for a bit if the time is right! I typically send 2-3 photos and updates throughout the day so you know what your pet has been up to. Happy to adjust as needed so everyone feels in the loop.
Pets
A typical day
We walk the neighborhood regularly throughout the day and hang in the backyard or on the fenced in porch. If inside, we usually snuggle on the couch while watching tv. Dogs are welcome to bring their own bed or hop in ours.
