This is our first time using Rover and we are thankful to have found Dana as our first sitter for our Enzo. She kept us updated the whole time, sending pictures and ensuring Enzo is doing well, considering that this is his first time (in forever) to be away from home. We are especially more grateful that Dana accepted our request last minute, on a holiday weekend. We would highly recommend Dana to everyone! Dana has been wonderful!

When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment tailored to each animal’s needs. I start by setting up a designated space where they can feel secure, with their bedding, toys, and any personal items that make them feel at ease. I maintain a regular routine for feeding, exercise, and bathroom breaks, which helps them feel settled and reduces any stress they may have from being in a new place. For cats and small pets, I ensure they have cozy, quiet areas for rest and enrichment activities like scratching posts, toys, and safe climbing spaces. For dogs, I incorporate plenty of outdoor time, walks, and play sessions in my fenced yard or on local trails, giving them both exercise and stimulation. I’m attentive to each pet’s health and well-being, observing for any signs of discomfort or stress and providing comfort and care to help them relax. My home is pet-proofed for safety, and I keep a close watch to ensure they stay safe, happy, and feel as much “at home” as possible.

I also love incorporating enrichment like puzzle toys, training games, or scent work to keep curious minds engaged—especially for smart pups like Aussies! Whether it’s a silly game of chase, a calm cuddle session, or a new trick we learn together, my goal is always to keep your pet safe, happy, and loved—just like they are at home. 💛🐾
