Pet care experience
What kind of world would this be without animals? Less bright! I can’t help but love on every animal I see, owner permission of course! I’ve had a lot of contact with people in their homes & on several occasions comments were “ wow, my dog doesn’t like anyone but loves you”. Animals read Energy. I have my own 4 lb dog whom I have gladly made many sacrifices for. He is aging with CHF, so between between being vigilant of this & times of any danger because of his small size watching for respiratory changes rates counting, checking heart rates gums tongue and eyelid color and administering medication daily, I have the ability to care for health challenged animals. House sitting. * I don’t accept overnight bookings with active indoor cameras, but outdoor cameras are absolutely fine. * A born lover of the interior an impeccable service giver. I love to add value, be an excellent steward of the homes we are blessed to live & work hard to create love and care for. Hyper aware- as a former night mgr at a DV shelter, psychiatric tech, government contractor, I know when something is off, how to watch for safety, the importance of confidentially, how to proactively anticipate care and safety needs. An eye for detail and observations. I thrive on making things beautiful. Born hospitality giver and natural at event planning, I understand and value beauty and the aesthetic. I’m meticulous. Thorough, careful, and able to anticipate problems using projection priactivity and asking questions staying curious and doing regular checks.I have handled Home issues like water lines breaking, I repaired one myself, put in 575 ft of sod at a rental property and left that place looking light years better than found. See photos. When a squirrel chewed a hole near the Top of the garage, I climbed up there drew a template cut wood to size painted and climbed back up nailing the hole up. But made sure that no squirrels were inside by climbing through the rafters and making loud noises to ensure no animal was trapped. I was a caregiver for elderly and tasked to remodel a closet into a stackable washer dryer area, sourced dry wall contractors, sourced 100 year old wood flooring to match. I’m very resourceful creative think on my feet and always aware. Another house sitting experience when the swamp cooler blew debris all over the kitchen after the owner (who was Travel nursing & back temporarily) turned it on, I cleaned the swamp cooler that hadn’t been addressed in years, replacing the filters, dealt with basement floods from the dishwasher 3 times though the same owner ran it with knowing of the malfunction and cleaned up the back yard full of 3-4 ft weeds all with out being asked. See the bottom of my photos for examples of house care. You can trust me to take excellent care of your home and your pets! ****Rover doesn’t allow us to customize our service radius for each service. I’m willing to travel further for house sitting than for drop in or walks.

Reviews

Dana was so great and our sweet pup loved having her pop in. She made sure he had water, potty break etc. will definitely book again!

Dana did an excelent job of taking care of our dog Jackson. She walked and played ball with him often. Most of all, she gave him lots of love and spent quality time with him. We would be booking her again soon.

Dana was very responsive to my booking request and any messages. She took good care of my pup Mocha and it was obvious on my return that Mocha had a good time with Dana.
