Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, tarantulas, frogs, and turtles as pets. With over 20 years of pet-sitting experience, my services were mostly sought by family and friends. I've always been the go-to person in my family for pet care needs. I've house-sat my parents' two dogs numerous times, including a continuous four-month period while they traveled across the country in their RV. I regularly board one of my sister's cats when she's away for work and also take care of my other sister's dog, providing both walking and boarding services when she travels.

Last year, I had a work trip planned for months and had my regular cat sitter booked. BUT, the morning of my flight, my sitter canceled, causing A TON of stress. My 10-year-old cat gets very anxious when I leave, resulting in hotspots and hefty vet bills. I made numerous calls to friends to orchestrate different people staying at my house and coordinating the passing off of my house key. My boss recommended Dane. Unfortunately, he had prior obligations and rightfully so, given the short notice. However, he was able to accommodate and stay at my house. I thought it would be more awkward than it was having a complete stranger stay in my home with my baby, but when I got back, my cat couldn't have cared less! She loved him! Dane was super reasonably priced, a clean house guest, and a hero!!! lol. Since then, he is the only person I will ever use, and I'm so glad he's finally on Rover! Dane, if you read this, don’t get too busy for Kat Stevens!
Dane has been a life saver! We’re a very busy family of 4, plus the dog! Mostly we just need help in a pinch with taking Teddy out for a walk/potty/fetch. But we've also relied on Dane ahead of time to dog sit, or do overnights. He’s always on time, reliable and friendly!
