A Country Stay For Your Pup
I’ve been caring for dogs for years, including puppies, seniors, and dogs with special needs. I’m comfortable with administering medications, managing different feeding routines, and giving each dog the individual care and attention they need. I’m home the majority of the time, so dogs staying with me get frequent potty breaks, supervised play, and lots of time outside. We live on a 3-acre property, and much of our day is spent outdoors tending to our animals. Dogs staying with us can enjoy plenty of fresh air, playtime, and pack walks when appropriate. I’m happy to accommodate dogs who need separate feeding, a little extra supervision, or a slower pace. My goal is for your dog to feel comfortable and enjoy their time here while you’re away. If your pup enjoys a family environment, lots of outdoor time, and being part of the daily activity, I’d love to meet them!

Dana is incredible! We are so grateful to have found someone who we will trust with our dog anytime we need a sitter. She sent us updates throughout the day including pictures and videos. Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m home much of the day and already have a consistent schedule caring for our animals. Dogs in my care are included in that routine, with regular opportunities for walks, supervised outdoor time, play, and plenty of downtime. I’m outside throughout the day tending to our animals and property, so dogs get to be part of our normal day rather than being left alone for long periods. I also build in time for individual attention, meals, medications when needed, and rest. My goal is to provide a predictable routine while still adjusting to each dog’s age, energy level, and personality.

I care for pets with the same attention and structure I give my own animals. I’m home much of the day and have a spacious, secure property where dogs can enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time, along with regular walks and play. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different needs, including senior dogs, and I have experience administering medication, supervising play, and separating pets during feeding when needed. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level rather than expecting every pet to fit the same routine. My goal is for pets in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and included while also maintaining clear boundaries and supervision. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and will keep you updated while they’re in my care.

A typical day
Dogs in my care get plenty of opportunities for supervised outdoor time, play, and walks. We enjoy exploring the property, taking pack walks, playing fetch, and having plenty of time outside to sniff and explore. I also like to give dogs a mix of activity and downtime, depending on their age, energy level, and personality. Senior dogs or dogs who aren't as active can enjoy leisurely walks, relaxing outside, and being near us while we go about our day, while more energetic dogs can get additional play and exercise. I want each dog to have a fun, enriching stay while still feeling comfortable and secure in their home-away-from-home.
