I am self-employed and work from home a decent amount, so I am hanging around your pets a LOT while they are with me! Usually we relax around the house and play in the yard. During gardening season, they may help me tend the big garden out back.

I live by myself and do not have pets of my own anymore so my full attention will be devoted to loving on your baby. My home is small and I can accept multiple dogs from the same family. I do not accept dogs from different families at one time.

Information Dana M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any special needs or habits your pet has. It’s best for me if you show up on boarding day with a written out bullet list of your pets typical schedule, needs, meds/dosages and cue words for daily routines. Please bring a crate with you, food, medications, a couple toys and any comfort items like a blanket or pet bed. I am not currently accepting Cats for boarding. Thank you for understanding.
A typical day
The sky is the limit at Auntie Day’s house. I am versatile. We can be active and go do some fun things, play ball, walk nature trails, etc…or be lazy, homebody, movie watchin’, cuddling on the couch with them if I need to go into that mode for your pet! What they need is what they get! :)

Pet care experience
I have personally cared for pets since I was a child and had my own pets since I was 16. In adulthood I had my two boys Hickory and Hans (weenie dogs). I don’t have children and am not married. Unfortunately, They are no longer with us anymore as of 2022 and 2023. I now fill that huge void by taking care of your babies! I am all about cuddling and playing with doggos and making sure they feel like the only dog in the world and will receive only child treatment! 👑 I know how big of a deal it was for me to leave my boys for a trip when they couldn’t come along and I just want to give that peace of mind to other pet parents using my calming and confident nature to care for their furry kids!
Reviews

This is my second time using Dana. Daisy was very happy to visit again. Communication was good. I will use Dana again when the need arises.

Dana provided fantastic care for my dog. She communicated really good and sent pictures throughout the day. I’ll definitely book again!

Dana was very sweet with our Tucker. We appreciate her caring for him and will be using her in the future. Thank you.

Barkley had a great time with Dana! He has stayed with her twice now, and we never worry about him while we're away. She's detail oriented and makes sure to learn about each dog's schedule, preferences, and quirks to make sure they feel at home. We will definitely try to keep booking with her in the future!
