I've been taking care of dogs for over 10 years. I was a former dog walker/pet sitter before starting a non for profit rescue in 2018. I have experience with all breeds and sizes and I am a certificated obedience trainer. In my free time I enjoy being outside and walking my own dog Raylene.

At this time I'm able to do overnight petsitting in your home. I only watch one family's animals at a time whether it's a drop in visit or overnight petsitting. There can be a presence in your home - getting your mail and packages, watering plants, taking out garbage and recycling and making sure the house is exactly as you left it.

I highly recommend Dana to care for your pets! Being a professional dog trainer and pet caregiver myself, I was highly specific about who I chose to care for my pups. My two dogs can be nervous around strangers, and Dana was so kind and patient with them. She came over two times before my trip to meet them to ensure they were comfortable. I was updated frequently, and when I returned, my pups were happy and my house was spotless. I couldn’t recommend Dana more!
Dana is professional, reliable and a pet lover! She has dog sat for me at least 4 times now and it abundantly clear how much my dog loves her. Dana took the time to go out of her way and learn my dogs routine in order to provide the best possible care. My dog has some reactivity issues, and knowing that she has extensive experience with dogs I am beyond confident in her ability to act accordingly when my dog is being reactive. I know she cares for my dog as if she is her own and I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.
Dana has taken care of both my pitbull and plott hound for a weekend, and my boyfriends huskies. She was amazing! Highly recommend and will always choose Dana to take care of my dogs :)
Dana has been watching our dog for years. She is so incredibly loving and caring. Nala gets so excited when she arrives. She has stayed many weeks at our house while we were on vacation and takes such good care of our dog and our house. And so knowledgeable about any issues around our dog. She is my go to as a dog sitter. I would highly recommend her. I trust her in my home in with our beloved dog.

Schedule
I work a few hours in the morning with a long afternoon break. That gives me the ability to come back mid-day for an afternoon walk/play session with your dog(s) or cat(s) during the day. Once I finish work I am home during the evenings for feedings and overnight stays.
