Hi there! My name is Dana and I’m currently a doctoral student at UNCC. I’ve grown up and had pets all of kinds all my life. I currently have a border collie puppy and 2 ferrets that I adore (yay for exotic pets)! Let me hang out with your pup or cat (or ask me about watching out for your other exotic and/or aquatic friends of all sorts) since I am knowledgeable and experienced with so many pets other than just dogs and cats. I’ve have extensive experience with dogs, cats, ferrets, bunnies, lizards, and both fresh and saltwater fish and invertebrates. I know that it can be super stressful finding help and feeling confident in leaving your beloved pets with anyone, especially a stranger, but rest assured they will be in good hands!

Safety, trust & environment
We have an awesome fenced in yard and big house that will ensure that your pet is safe and has fun. To stay at our home, your dog MUST have a crate. There will be no exceptions to this rule. A crate is necessary for safety because your dog will be in a strangers home with other animals.
Ratings and reviews
Dana took great care of our fur baby while we were out of town. We just moved here from out of state and it can be so hard to find a trustworthy sitter who you feel comfortable enough to leave your dog with - but Dana exceeded all expectations! Great communication and kept us updated all week with pictures and videos. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her and will definitely use Dana again!:)
I will always take king to Dana! He gets the best love in an environment he feels most comfortable in :) she updates with pictures and texts frequently which is always appreciated!
Dana took such good care of our dog while we were away for a long weekend! She sent photos and videos morning and evening and kept us in the loop the entire time. I could tell our dog was having the best time with her, her husband, and her sweet pup. She has a fenced in backyard so our dog could freely run around and play. I would highly recommend Dana and our dog can’t wait to go back and play soon!!
Piper had another amazing stay with Dana and family! They are wonderful and Piper loves every minute of visiting with them and their sweet Pup. Highly recommend. 🙂🐶
Dana was amazing with our two little cockapoos. She would send videos of them smiling and playing with their cute little dog. I know they got a lot of snuggles, attention and fun times while we were away. We will definitely book with her again!
Second time booking with Dana and she is just as amazing as the first time. Harley has warmed up to her more than I've seen with any other person.
