Hi there! My name is Dana and I grew up with 5 dogs and a cat. Surrounded by pets. I don’t have any pets myself but welcome the company when I can. I often pet sit for friends (dogs and cats) and used to be on Wag before COVID. Happy to open my home to your pet, stay at your place, or hop out for walk with your dog.

Dana took such great care of my senior dog Emmy! After making sure she was settled in and comfortable, Dana shared lot of updates and was so great to work with when it came to arranging a meet and greet along with pick up and drop off times. We will be back!
I almost don’t want to leave this review so that Dana can be my hidden gem, but other dogs deserve this level of care and love, too. So, secret’s out: I’ve never seen my little dog warm up to a sitter so quickly and completely. He’s normally shy with new people and takes some time to come out of his shell, but he’s been fully comfortable with her from almost the moment they met. I’m so glad that he has a new best friend!

Schedule
I am fully remote and as long as I’m in town, I am happy to spend time in doors or out with your pet. I’m a bit of a homebody who occasionally goes out to the gym or for dinner, so I’m around quite a bit. Plus I love going on walks so having your pet with me is a plus. I keep my schedule up to date so just take a look or plan with me ahead of time.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment and have had no issues keeping dogs and cats before. Fairly quiet apartment so not too stressful for your pet. If your dog likes to socialize, I’m next to Meridian Hill Park and lots of dogs play there. If not, happy to go on walks. For cats I have a simple litter box and would just need the litter and any other supplies. Animals are always welcome at my relaxing home.
A typical day
I’m a relaxed pet sitter who will love to spend some cozy time in with your pet! For dogs needing more socialization, I live right next to Meridian hill park for lots of running and socializing. If socializing isn’t your pet’s thing, the area is still great for walks. Let me know their preference and specific needs!
